There are multiple ways to get to the crater. People can ride on horseback or hike with or without a guide. Be ready to get wet on the boat ride to the island.
By a mineral rich crater @ the Taal Volcano, Philippines, which involved a short boat crossing of Lake Taal (which is a crater itself) & a horse-back trek to the top of the volcano (April 2018).
