An example of beauty and elegance is Shri Mangeshi Temple in Goa. Located in Mangeshi village, Priol in Ponda Taluka,Goa, India. Mangeshi Temple is 400 years old and is a heritage site popular maongst tourists and locals. A spacious courtyard a large water tank surrounds the temple, and at it's gates stands a humble seven-storeyed deepstambha (lamp tower). History has it, that it's origins are at Kushasthali, now Cortalim village in Salcete.
