“We were made very welcome by the proprietor on our arrival. We were provided with drinks, madeline cakes and a rice desert. The facility is very spacious which included a separate sitting room that included a desk, a large shower and WC room with a walk in shower. The bed was comfortable that enabled us to have a much needed good nights sleep. The breakfast provided was plentiful, with multiple meat choices, pancakes, breads, yogurts, cheese, rice desert, various coffee choices and orange……

“Unknowingly we were there during the LeMans race week. The gentleman at the desk was a wealth of information about the race and the cars that were parked in the lot. Dinner and breakfast were on site which was very convenient. ”

“Overnight stop on way to ferry so room on second floor was fine and private off road parking appreciated. Usual amenities with good water pressure and plentiful hot water. Dinner served in enclosed charming outdoor terrace area and beautifully cooked food although a plethora of bouche amusants offered in addition to three course menu which bordered on unnecessary. It seems that smoking on such a dining terrace is still normal in France as it is open to the air. Breakfast was good for pastries……

“We loved meeting Roc and staying here! This is a French country house and got us out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Roc was welcoming, gave us access to his family home and gardens, and an excellent restaurant recommendation in a nearby town. He even called to make a reservation for us. ”
