"Hale Nalu is a gem. From fine construction to tasteful appointments that are fun and comfortable. We were two adults but it is a great home for a family of four. Tons of amenities - has every thing and more you need for cooking and fine dining. The house is close to all outdoor activities (trails for hiking, tidepools, beaches, etc) and great restaurants. We will rent again."

"Everything was as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need. Beds were comfortable and the view can’t be beat."

"Ocean was barely visible from our room. We were put in the pet section and had to listen to dogs bark throught out the night. Had those little ants all over the kitchen. Probably won't go back."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second stay, and we were completely happy with the property. We had a great time in Yachats! Two minor things that did not influence our stay, but you probably want to be aware of if you are not already. The drain in the main shower is partially clogged and water backs up during the shower. Probably just needs some liquid drain cleaner. The second thing was we noticed that the clothes dryer shut off after a short period without things being completely dry. Your house cleaners might have noticed the same thing. Again, these are totally minor and not a compliant at all. We love the place and hope to stay there again in the future."

My criteria was to find a fully fenced backyard for my dog and a clean unit. I really found both criteria and so much more with this cottage. I thought it was perfect for my 3-night stay. Loved how clean it was and did not smell the strong chemical odor most pet friendly rentals have. The bedding and towels were high quality, with kitchen ware having everything I needed to make my meals, including a coffee bean grinder. Both bedrooms are spacious as well as the living and dining/kitchen areas. A person could easily stay here for a couple weeks and be happy with the space. It is close to the Hwy, but the house is well insulated so I did not hear traffic. The ocean view is far away, and only really seen from the dining area. I was totally fine with the view. Each day I had my ocean views with my dog on the beach. I want to stay here again!"

"The view is terrific, the common space is lovely and practical. Location very good. Close to good outings and the village of Yachats. Hot water was fine. The place is tastefully decorated and furnished and is not fussy. We enjoyed it very much. (There was no winery experience, so my rating on that is only because I couldn't get out of the eval software wtithout answering)"
