The property was well maintained and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was mediocre at best, and the room was advertised as having a water view but only had a restricted side view of the water.

The breakfast brought to our room was excellent and we loved having wine and a fire pit on the deck looking out at the Bay. Espresso and tea in the rooms with a teapot and espresso machine were wonderful to have. AC and heat worked well for changing temperatures outside. Very comfortable bed and ALL bedding was washed and clean, not just the sheets like in many hotels. Excellent location for walking. Grocery market and walking trail close by. Parking is much closer than it looks on the map.

This hit all the marks on an amazing stay. First is the location: on the bay, overlooking a marina with views of Angel Island, San Francisco and the Golden Gate from the back patio. The ferry docks just a couple buidings away, so boating to the city is fast, affordable and convenient. Tom at the front desk hides his cape but is a superman, always willing to help in many ways. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is delivered to your room at the time requested; there is a coffee and tea bar on the floor; the wine reception is self-serve, so no minimal pours! It is a smaller property, with just a couple of dozen rooms, so it is quiet and well maintained. And they make fresh chocolate chip cookies mid-evening! After a day of hill climbing or other tourist activities, it was a dream to sit on the patio, watch the fog roll in and the sun setting with (one or so) glasses of wine and a lovely wife. It's a must book!!

Breakfast in bed was really nice. And the outside deck has terrific views. There was plenty of provisions- coffee, tea, water, as well as wine and cheese spread and cookies every day. Planning to stay again already, next time bringing my son with us who is a foodie. Top restaurants right next door with amazing waterfront views.

The property and amenities were exceptional! Absolutely NOTHING that was not classy and excellent: room was darling/well-appointed; shared deck on the bay was simply lovely...with the firepits during the evening...enjoying the morning sunrise in the AM; continental breakfast was simply yummy...great food choices, well presented! Credit for parking right across the street! Wine and cheese at 5:00/warm chocolate chip cookies at 7:00! I forgot to mention Martin...at the desk during the AM...exceptional service! We will definitely return and soon! "Waters Edge" has become one of our favorite Northern CA destinations! Get there!! :)

Perfect spot to relax, Staff is excellent, Jonathon was very helpful and friendly. Several Great restaurants within walking distance. The view of the bay is outstanding. Will definitely come back again very soon.

Wonderful place to stay for a relaxing weekend

Wonderful boutique type hotel to stay at. Was recommended by our friends, who have stayed here many times, and it did not disappoint. Our favorite part was getting a glass of wine during their wine happy hour and then sitting out on the back deck enjoying the views!
