"Staff were kind. Property and amenities old and not that tidy. Sofa seats in room are very suspicious for unkempt and has visible wear and tear no maintenance"

"We always enjoy staying here. It's centrally located to be able to walk to the campus and around town. Sometimes we get a bathroom that is small and there is no room to keep our toiletries, however this time we had a good size bathroom with plenty of space. Always recommend the Shattuck. "

The location is amazing, Solano Avenue has everything you could want within walking distance, and overall the neighborhood has a really charming/quaint/safe vibe. I thought the apartment could have been cleaner when I checked in (spider webs, lots of accumulated random stuff in the drawers like old smoke detectors and batteries and stuff), but overall the place was super thoughtfully and well-outfitted. Full kitchen gear (knives that actually cut!), fans, spare toiletries, plenty of towels, etc. Would recommend for someone who’s ok with a bohemian option. "
