Good stay-has what you need for basic stay
We loike coming to stay at microtel in tioga, nd as it has what you need and a good breakfast in the morning. This stay seemed To be abit less clean, even though not so busy, and was hard to get someone at the desk to get checked in and checked out,but. The staff is always friendly and nice!! Im guedsing they are just probably understaffed like most places..

As expected. Had 2 towels for a reservation for 4 people for 4 days. Had one reg, one decaf coffee in room. People we met were nice enough, but not much human interaction. Mints were good.

Daily cleaning was not done. Had to remove my own trash two days. I took the trash bags to the front desk and the clerk told me to take it to the dumpster. Rooms were not vacuumed.

They booked us into a room with only bed. Went back to front desk to get the room we paid for, a double queen, and they said they where full. And somebody will have to sleep on the couch.

A very economical clean and friendly stay

Just a place to sleep. No pool. No charging water or anything extra to your room.

The stay was ok and beds comfortable and our floor was quiet. The cleanliness was iffy. The floor needed to be vacuumed, the sink was slow draining and there was hair in the shower.

I was concerned when I walked into the lobby and there was a cigarette odor. Was happy to note that the hallway and rooms smelled clean but every time I went into the lobby, I could smell the odor. Rooms were not very soundproof. Beds were comfortable, staff friendly - they have been changing out the key card system so my key was not working properly. I was promptly moved to a different room. I think I left my Kindle in the room and while staff have been trying to find it, the search has been unsuccessful - am hoping it will turn out. I feel like the service was very friendly and professional.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, some of our guests smoke outside the doors and the odor does come back into the hotel. We have looked for your kindle and have not found it anywhere. We appreciate your time and your kind words.

The property was fine. The theft of personal items was not appreciated. And for a small staff to think that the expensive item would not be noticed and asked for is bizarre. The the limited number of people to have access to the room and no one seen anything. Just be careful with your stuff.
