The locals call these cherry blossoms "Kuramae Sakura," although I'm pretty sure they are a type of yama-zakura. I like that they are so fond of these blossoms that they named it :) Location: Kuramae Station on the Toei Oedo Line. For a Tokyoite, it's just a short walk from Asakusa or Ueno.

The hotel is situated about 10 minute walk away from popular tourist area. It is quiet, and staff are very friendly and are fluent in English. The room itself is quite spacious, and has a washer/dryer unit in the suite, which is very convenient.

The desk staff were really friendly the check-in really quick, free coffee in the lobby abd beautiful/clean room with everything you need. The only negative is that if you are 4 people, it is a struggle to fit your luggage in the space but we found this to be the norm in Japan. I would recommend and i would stay again mysefl!

We had a very nice week-long stay when visiting Tokyo. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a little bit dusty but overall it was clean and comfortable for 3 people with all our luggages. I liked that there was a small kitchen area, washer/dryer, and dining table with chairs. We stayed for 10 nights and had a great stay. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful and although the room was a bit smaller than I expected, it had everything we needed. The washing machine/dryer combo was amazing. Having the subway within a 2 minute walk was so helpful and it was an easy walk along the river up to the Sensoji/Asakusa area. Will happily stay here again on our next visit to Tokyo!

The staff at Section L Kuramae were amazing. They were always willing to help, and go that step further. The communication between the team was good too. We didn't have to wait for specific members of staff to deal with issues. The property itself was sufficient for our needs, clean, tidy, close to station and local shops. Would stay there again.

My husband, daughter, and I spent 8 nights at Section L Kuramae. We loved everything about this property! The staff are so very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They made us feel at home and offered suggestions for places to see around Tokyo. The room was the perfect size, and we appreciated the small kitchen and washer/dryer combo. The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and safe. The Tokyo subway stop “Kuramae” is a two-minute walk from the hotel. The property is less than a year old, too! We’ll definitely stay here the next time we visit Tokyo! Highly recommend!!

The rooms were big and enough apace for luggage. We could store our carry on underneath the bead. The washer/dryer was great to have in the room. We packed light so we are doing laundry at each stop. They provided laundry detergent and everything else you may need. Full kitchen and bath. Bunk beds for our kids and a nice table. Staff were very nice and spoke english. Reception is super easy for check in and out. Super close to multple train lines and attractions. Got all three major convenience stores near by to pick from if you need it. We are early risers so not a lot of option for breakfast near by but there are some within walking distance.
