Rooms are spacious, with modern amenities. All day Espressos / lattes in the lounge, along with DJ - drinks during Happy hour. Rooftop bar has excellent cocktails - good music. The hotel was well situated. It was in the upscale resdential Azabujuban neighborhood. There were convenience stores, interesting restaurants and bars near by. Rooms were on the small side (though dominated by a huge bed). Unless you have a subscription to a streaming service, no English (or other than Japanese) language television was available. Bring an HDMI cable to connect to the TV if you have those services on your computer. Pleasant 24 hour coffee area, bars in the hotel, but no restaurants beyond breakfast, which was very nice. Definitely a really nice stay.

Very small room like many Tokyo rooms, but it was extremely well thought out. The bathroom space and shower were great, and the fold out desk was functional. The lobby lounge though is what made this a very good stay. It’s cool and comfortable at the same time and I was able to setup my computer to work to a few hours. They have a free happy hour at 5pm for guests, too. The top floor bar is super fancy and brings in young locals looking for a great cocktail bar experience.
My breakfast wasn’t included but I ate there most days of my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lively. Rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable beds, shower powerful and hot. Breakfast was good, and choices so not a buffet. Nice bar area, free drinks between 5-6! Staff very helpful. Areas has lots of places to eat and located near to public transport.
