“The hotel was charming in a rural area. The staff were small in number but very helpful and efficient. The restaurant was excellent, we had a beautiful meal, chef’s choice tasting menu. They also provided a breakfast pack for us as we had to leave before the restaurant opened in the morning. Great service. ”

“Location of the hotel allows for exploring surrounding cities and villages, room was clean and had good amenities. Private sauna was a nice add-on. Good breakfast and overall welcoming staff made this a great stay.”

“This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome ”
