Cute rustic cabin

Cabin was small and rustic but cute with a decent view of the lake. Can't tie to the dock except to load/unload which we wish we'd have known prior to booking. Very limited parking especially if you have a boat trailer.

Misleading - ruined our trip

Planned a great trip up north boating… false advertising and absolutely misleading. No resolution as of this review. Ended up at a hotel for our stay. RUN!

Yellow cottage on the lake

Location was great--convenient to everything we wanted to see--Indian River Marina, Mullet Lake, North Central State Trail in the backyard, Mackinaw City. Very cozy feeling. Kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom lighting weren't the best. There is some definitive noise from the road, running the fan helped to cover it. Water depth off the dock is not good fishing, but the dock was nice for swimming, enjoying a cup of coffee. Overall a nice place!

Great location, poor amenities

The location, Lake, dock and view were all wonderful. However, the amenities in the cottage were not up to par. The mattresses were extremely soft, the bed linens were extremely scratchy and uncomfortable, the towels were poor. We could tell from the pictures that the furniture would be old, but the pull out was not even functional. It closed up when you laid on it and you had to sleep on it backwards to prevent it from collapsing. There was absolutely zero padding, and you could feel the spring straight through. My teenage son opted to sleep on the floor instead of use the pullout. So the cabin does not sleep 6 as advertised.
