“AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. “Right in the heart of the Barbican this is a lovely modern apartment in a historic looking building. I loved that the hallway and stairs that lead to the apartment, and the apartment itself were adorned with the artwork of a local artist. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay!”

“Lovely, modern, spacious apartment. Catered for everything, towels, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, even cling film! Only downside was that the beds weren’t the most comfortable but stunning view. Great communication from host too.”

“Very cute two story cottage facing directly onto the tidal inlet of Polperro. Comfy bed, cozy sitting room and a good kitchen with a new espresso machine. Tight fit in the bathroom but it’s a very old house and they’ve done their best to fit in sink toilet and shower. Massive tv in the sitting rooms and smaller one in the bedrooms. The view was enchanting and we enjoyed our stay. ”

“Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. “Facilities were well organised and everything was as described. Bed was comfortable. Only downside wife me was that the carpet needs a clean, it is getting sticky under foot. Otherwise all good.”

“I had no wifi as there isnt in Foxes Den at first i was disconcerted then enjoyed reading and sitting outside instead of infront of the TV. It was just what I needed”

“The apartment was absolutely stunning. Beautifully furnished & so much natural light from the huge windows. The sea view was beautiful & looking out over Drake island & Plymouth sound was amazing. Parking was available right outside at £10 a night but we could go out in the car & know we had parking when we got back. The Barbican is walking distance or a quick uber ride away & there are plenty of restaurants & bars. We unfortunately didn’t receive an email re the checking in process which was……
