The people here are uniformly lovely, eager to please and generally excellent. The property is apparently being run on an absolute shoe string and the budget doesnt run to the basic maintenance of “anything”. Its a time warp back to the 70’s in most regards - and that appears to be the last time anything saw a lick of paint. I met a lot of lovely staff for whom nothing was too much trouble - but the ownership is giving them absolutely nothing to work with. A warren of a hotel that seems largely set up to relieve the elderly of their money in the hope that they dont care anymore or simply dont know any better. Again, an excellent staff trying really hard in a shambolic, crumbling, down at heel hotel. Best avoided in my opinion.

Fabulous

What a fantastic group of hotels. Stayed in the Toorak but could use all the other hotel's facilities. Friendly staff, free parking and a 5 min walk to the seafront. Room was spacious. Breakfast was good but a little variety would be nice, different pastries, so.e cheeses, especially for us non meat eaters but we loved it here!

pleasant stay

we came back yesterday after a few days at the hotel we were happy with our stay kids had plenty to do an really enjoyed the outside pool as it was really good weather when we were there arcade room with pool tables gives u enough to do if the weathers not to good also inside is a lovely pool also . a nice 10 mins walk to the beach which is very easy to get to.. all staff were very pleasant… parking wasn’t a problem at all…

Stayed as a couple for a late break. Have often seen this hotel but this was our first stay. Check in was quick with information about the complex, room was on the first floor and was a family room with a wardrobe like Narnia, like other reviews have stated the property is in need of updating, but this said everywhere is clean and well presented. The food is really good, generous breakfast buffet and good evening meals, although we did eat out one evening. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. Would we return …….. most definitely.
