Good to walk around the old town, as the hotel is very close to the old town or just behind the old city. The room was wide enough, clean and bath room had a bathtub! Yeah!! Breakfast was also good. Good to start the day.

The worst hotel in Torun city

For me it is not acceptable that the hotel guest cannot turn off air conditioner. I was very cold and rhere was norhing I could do with it. Even I cannot did a hot tea in room because there was no kettle at room! After one night in the hotel bulwar, I caught a cold and lost my voice. Dwfinitely the worat 4 stars hotel in Torun ( I visited all of them). For a 4stara hotel this is unacceptable.

I reserved 2 rooms at Bulwar for a week. This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel and the hotel has not kept up with changing times. The hotel only has a central AC unit (no AC control in rooms), it is not effective in cooling the rooms on summer days. The window handles have been removed, opening the window to air out the rooms was not an option. It was very stuffy. After a while of speaking with the front desk, they offered a mini fan (smaller than my hand), which was better than nothing. However, it was not substantial to deal with the heat/ size of the room. One of the two rooms also had a plumbing issue. The toilet flushed only very hot water. The rooms only had 1 available plug to use by a desk. No plugs for use by the night tables. There was some plug connected to the hair dryer in the bathroom with what appeared to be a standard 2-hole EUR outlet and 2-hole CAN outlet. When trying to plug both of these types of plugs into the outlets, they did not fit. These bathroom plugs were unusable. The evening bar staff was very kind and provided attentive service. The day bar staff was very unorganized. We waited over 25 min for 2 bottles of water. When approaching the bar again to check on our order, only then did they proceed to complete the order. When checking out of the hotel, the front desk insisted they were unable to produce a business receipt. I was quite frustrated by this point because I have never had issues with receiving this at prior hotels.
