Nice apartment, poor communication with rental agent

Very nice apartment. First night was ruined when the smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night. It was very frightening. I could not reach the agency (Cocoonr) by email or by phone, as directed. I had to knock the alarm off a high wall with a broom handle.to stop it after a half hour. I'm now, a month later, still trying to get reimbursed for that first (of 3) night's rent. I've had no response from Cocoonr to my request. So, nice apartment, poor rental agency.

La Parenthèse "Appartement loué pour 4 jours à Toulouse. Gare et centre ville accessibles à pieds ce qui est très appréciable. Espace de vie agréable. Néanmoins, quelques points à souligner : - table de jardin et chaises inexploitables car très sales, rouillés et empreintes de fiente de pigeon - odeur désagréables d’humidité et de renfermé - aucun retour avec l’agence au sujet de l’heure d’arrivée. Il était spécifié 16h. Nous avions indiqué que nous arrivions pour 12h, mais n’ayant aucun retour mise à part des mails automatiques mentionnant le Check in à 16h, nous avons réservé une consigne à Toulouse pour nos bagages. À 12h30, une personne de l’agence nous appelle pour nous indiquer qu’elle peut nous remettre les clés. Si nous avions au la confirmation plus tôt, nous n’aurions pas réservé la consigne. - Porte d’entrée difficile à fermer à clés. Mise à part ces 4 points, le séjour fut agréable."

Le lieu est calme dans une rue peu passante; la cour intérieure est calme aussi, les voisins étant respectueux du silence. Je serai content de revenir loger dans cet appartement une autre fois!

La Parenthèse Bien que le logement ait semblé attrayant sur l'annonce, il ne valait absolument pas son prix. La porte avait un mécanisme de fermeture extrêmement compliqué, alors qu'un simple changement de serrure aurait suffi à régler le problème. Le personnel sur place n'a proposé aucune solution concrète et m'a simplement renvoyé vers Airbnb pour résoudre les problèmes. De plus, l'insonorisation était déplorable, rendant le séjour très bruyant et inconfortable. Je ne recommande pas ce logement.
