Mountain View

The villa was stunning - the pool - the patio and the setting were outstanding. Plenty of space and property for all. The fireplace in the main villa was a highlight for us. We were impressed with the cleanliness.

What a Beautiful Villa!

We were blown away by this property, endless trees and beauty all around - heaps of space for people to sit and have quiet spaces. The pool was gorgeous - large, cold and with stunning views. Jean Paul, the host, was incredibly friendly and was on hand for any issues. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will hopefully be returning very soon!

Wonderful

This was exactly what we needed. Relaxation, good facilities, great location and very peaceful. Found we only needed to leave the place just for the supermarket! Marciac is lovely and theres enough within striking distance for days out. Good helpful comms with owners and site manager. Definitely look to return.

Seclusion - Yes, overlooking the valley and walk to lake and town

It is an amazing location, well positioned not too far from Marciac. You as hosts, and Jean Paul Dadema, your brother, are perfect and make the renters sojourns hassle free and relaxing. Jean Paul is welcoming, and professional in explaining all the key aspects and led us from La Peniche to the house on arrival which is secluded in a lovely forested area overlooking the valley, away from the bustle of Marciac. With no neighbours around it is perfect for solitude and gives freedom to roam and enjoy. Oh, and La Peniche is 300 metres away and a great, unusual restaurant, reasonably priced… to include fois gras. Thanks to the cleaning lady, Pierrette and Celine too who were equally timely and efficient at the end and when needed ad hoc. Celine is excellent at BBQ (she did a duck on one of the 3 BBQs you have) and also cooking local French cuisine on another day. The ladies are reasonably priced and we had fun talking to them. The property fulfilled more than what we expected. You provided all baby things including a high chair and cot, and the modern kitchen has good equipment, clean and well maintained. It felt “home from home”; so well decorated. The two villas are full of art and sculptures! A marvellous treat for art lovers …. Even the floor tiles and decorative wall tiles were luxury, and your well-tended garden with so many flowers and trees. We would class it at the luxury end that we normally rent. The property is fully accessible and Jean Paul sought to fulfil any need. The focal point is your 2 tier and massive swimming pool and Jean Paul’s attendance on ensuring a clean and well treated pool at 28/ 30°C. The pool at waist height is so perfect for young swimmers under supervision. We used it morning, and afternoon! The veranda and the 2 paillotes are excellent for sitting outside eating and evening drinks, watching the sunset . And, we could continue in our praises. For the adults and the toddler and child, restaurants are not far (approx.. 300m walking straight down in 3 minutes or by car) and the town is small and void of loud noise. My son and his wife loved the walking and walking…. There are just lots of things to do in the area. The 2 self-contained villas and the chalet compares in the same league as luxury housing in lovely spots of France. We spend a lot of time in great places in Mauritius, Naples, Nice, Crete and Cyprus, Jard sur Mer. We will add this as yet another great hideaway. The property is mostly good for wheelchair

Zalige vakantie gehad, we hadden heel goed weer, het zwembad was top en groot. De accommodatie bestaat eigenlijk uit drie huizen (1 groot huis, 1 kleiner huis, 1 chalet) allemaal voorzien van nutsvoorzieningen. Ideaal als JE met gezinnen gaat. JE zit samen, maar je kunt u ook afzonderen

Séjour au « vert coteau «

Nous étions 11 amis à venir découvrir la région du Gers à vélo. Nous avions choisi le gîte du « vert Coteau « en fonction de son emplacement près de Marciac. La qualité du gîte est exceptionnelle, tout est parfait et celui-ci réuni toutes les conditions pour un séjour de qualité. Les logements et couchages sont remarquables, les salles d’eau et toilettes très propres, le barbecue, l’extérieur aménagé en conséquence (chaises,relax en quantité…) le tout abrité en cas de mauvais temps et bien sûr la piscine extraordinaire le tout avec un responsable local ( merci Jean-Paul ) disponible et très compétent. Avec toutes ces belles conditions nous avons pu accomplir plus de 600 km en vélo pendant notre séjour. L’accès à la ville de Marciac à pied depuis le gîte est facile pour découvrir les restaurants de la ville . En conclusion, nous vous conseillons ce gîte pour une grande famille ou pour une bande d’amis en toute quiétude. Le rapport qualité/prix est exceptionnel. A découvrir 👍 Alain

Warm ontvangts door Jean-Paul, wat is de wereld klein met onze wederzijdse verhalen en twee heerlijke flessen wijn. We hebben zeker genoten van mooie plek. Goede bedden ..mooie badkamers...en het grote zwembad..alles was aanwezig. Een airco zou zeker geen overbodige luxe zijn. Zeker een plek om terug te gaan . . Hendrik Jan jij ook nog bedankt ...wat is je broer Jean Paul een geweldige man ..als we terugkomen brengen we worstenbroodjes voor je mee..Het was een TOP Vakantie Groetjes Huub en Truus den Teuling en kinders en kleinkinders

Superbe séjour 😎

Superbe séjour dans cette magnifique propriété. Tout était parfait. Super accueil !! La maison est très bien équipée. Elle semble isolée alors que l’on peut gagner le centre de Marciac en à peine 15 minutes à pieds. La piscine est splendide et le jardin très agréable.

Great House, Great pool, Grate region, Great Hosts... a must go !!! We loved it

We had 2 such great weeks at Martine and Hendrik place this summer. The house is great all 12 of us could find a confortable space to chill and enjoy the huge pool, have aperitive on the pool salon big enough to welcome the whole tribe. Teenagers and grownups have all enjoyed both freedom and great gathering time. And this is all thanks to the great house and surrounding. The place is both very isolated and at a 10 mnts walk or 5 minutes drive from the nice and typical center of Marciac. It is really ideally located. Although the tiles have limited the great events that usually animate the region, we had a great time visiting and practicing great activities: Loupiac home town from the most famous mousquetaire D’Artgnan, he was not just a legend. Typical city markets always full of animation and small events (we can imagine how it can be when there is no covid). The Accrobranche park at Aignan is realy fantastic with its long Tyrolienne above the lake, we had such a great time that we went twice. Not mentioning the food that is pure delight whether we cooked it or eat it in the numerous and delicious restaurants in Marciac but also in the area around. Last but not least a special thanks to Jean Paul Hendrik’s brother who welcomed us and responded to all our needs during our stay, spending his time housekeeping and giving us a lot of tips and places to visit, he knows the region perfectly as has been living there for decades. We really appreciated his kindness and enthousiasme. We just regret we did not stay longer.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in Südfrankreich

Voller Erwartung betraten wir nach langer Reise unser gebuchtes Feriendomizil, welches unsere Erwartungen weit übertraf. Die Anlage präsentierte sich in einem außerordentlichen sauberen und gepflegten Zustand. Der Pool mit seinem klaren Wasser lud uns geradewegs zum Baden ein. Die Räumlichkeiten waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet und voller Gemütlichkeit. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Als wir ankamen wurden wir sogleich von JEAN-PAUL herzlich begrüßt. So sagte er:"Ab heute gehört Ihnen für 3 Wochen alles was Sie sehen"!!! Wandern, Schwimmen und Sport, alles das wurde uns in diesem schönen Feriendomizil geboten und wir haben davon regen Gebrauch gemacht. Großes Glück hatten wir auch, dass wir die Tour de France ganz in der Nähe hautnah miterleben konnten. Ausgezeichnete Restaurants gibt es ganz in der Nähe und laden zum Verweilen und gutem Essen und Wein ein.

Le vert Coteau, everything we had hoped for!

We were a family of 12 and the accommodation was perfect, each group having its own space of which there was plenty. Both inside and out the property was in excellent condition and very well equipped all round. The swimming pool is fabulous both in size and setting and proximity to Marciac being within walking distance is a big plus. Due to the property's setting privacy was complete and with views of the Pyranees, even in the summer, really made our holiday. Thanks to Jean Paul for local information and a warm welcome. We hope to visit Le vert Coteau again in the not too distant future. Thankyou.

Best place for families, great accessability !

This is the third time our family has spent our summer holidays at this place. We have been here for 3 and 4 weeks at a time and have always been two families travelling together. 11-12 people in all from 10 to 60 years old. Everybody in every age loves this place and from year to year the facilities has been developed and is just getting better and better. One of our three daughters is sitting in a wheelchair, but has accessability everywhere with even a special designed toilet and bathroom for wheelchair users. There are indoor an several outdoor places to enjoy the meals and even an outdoor kitchen and grill in a nice patio by the pool. The pool is great and bigger than usual with a fantastic view over the area around Marciac. One of the nicest things is that the place is lying on high ground, in walking distance to Mariciac, but quite isolated from noice and insight. You feel that you have a large space for yourself, surrounded by garden and forest, but close to everything. Marciac offers nice restaurants, several bakeries (mmm) and cafe's, and is really a nice and quite place. It has a marked in the square once a week and of course the Jazz festival which we enjoyed this year in august. This was really one of the best festivals we've been to. Even if you don't enjoy jazz, you can enjoy the life, all different kind of music, a lot of nice places to sit down and enjoy different food and drinks. We spent a lot of time just walking around. For those who anjoy som sports in the morning there is a lot of different hiking and jogging paths, both in the forest with nice shadow and around the lake at the bottom of the hill. We were jogging/walking every morning through forest, wineyards and around the lake. The area has everything you want, and the distance to the Pyrinees is just a hours drive away. A must is to take the car and go to Pic Du Midi. You can make it a "roundtrip" by the Col du Tourmalet which is one of the hardest routes in Tour De France. Its a lot to expierience of views, caves and small nice cities. You can also go rafting and climbing trees in this area, we spent a day just climbing trees with the kids. (Acro Parc, Saint Lary) It's not really much more to say, you will have to go to this place several times to really discover all the qualities, so we really recommend that you do...we surtenly will !

A holiday home that was exactly as promised

We stayed three weeks at Le Vert Coteau using both the main house and the pool house. The main house was perfect for the disabled with its newly built toilet and shower room. What a kitchen, what a lounge and what a pool! We will be returning. Many thanks also to Jean Paul for his help during our stay. In short, absolutely fantastic!

Marvellous Marciac!!!

We spent a fantastic 2 weeks at this villa with our 3 children and another family and all i can say is that it was perfect!. The larger villa itself is so well equipped it has everything you could possibly need, the pool villa was also great. We shared all facilities together and it was so relaxing, the patio area was great in the evenings for meals, and the view just made it perfect. I f you ask the children, they want to go back next year already, the pool was really big, i mean huge and the fact that it was an infinity pool just made it even more special. The place was clean and very spacious and all our needs were catered for, and what ever we couldn't find Jean-Paul could!! he was very helpful and accommodating and he made us feel very welcome. So overall we would highly recommend for families, i would say that a care is an absolute must and we can't wait to go back!!!!

Our stay in Marciac was fantastic !

We stayed in this villa with 11 adults and one 4 year old boy. We were very suprised when we arrived at the location. The pool is magnificent and the houses are fully equiped with everything we needed. The guidance and advise we had from Jean-Paul was very valueable to enjoy our stay in marciac and the other surrounding towns. We also enjoyed the 'high-tech' kitchen in the main villa. It was a pleasure to cook our holiday meals here!. We will be coming back next year!
