Speculator view of lake toya. The family managing the hotel is sooo kind and helpful though they cannot speak much English. We would like to take bus back to Sapporo and they are so nice to drive us to the bus station in the heavy snow. The fondue dinner is yummy and portion is big.

Booked a standard room facing towards the mountain, but the staff gave us a free upgrade facing towards the lake. The room was amazing!!! Huge room with nice balcony and dinner area, and obviously with an amazing view! Absolutely perfect!

Great place to stay for a more authentic Japanese onsen experience. We stayed here and drove to Niseko for skiing (about an hour drive).
Good price, fantastic outdoor onsen, authentic tatami room but futons were very comfortable. Friendly helpful staff with good English.
Our room had a toilet and sink but all bathing is done in the onsen in which clothing is not allowed. If you're too shy to be nude among other hotel guests you will not be able to shower!
Would recommend to friends.
