The hotel is very near the JR train station and Toyama Alpine Kurobe station. Staff are helpful. The room is fine for a short stay. We cannot comment on the breakfast as we checked out before it was served.

Great place to stay. Super Close to Toyama station. Lots of places to eat at Toyama station. Easy to check in and check out using hotel's machine. Lots of cherry blossom trees. 🌸 we are lucky we saw them. Only missing are the the old traditional japanese houses.

Convenient location for Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Rou
Excellent. Hotel was close to Dentetsu-Toyama Station which was very convenient for early morning travel to Tateyama. Many dining options available around the hotel.

very close to the station room relatively spacious in Japan's standard but only clean the room on the 4th day (dun mind not changing the linen or even towels,but would be good if they at least clear out the trash)

Sorry for the lack of explanation.On days when there is no cleaning, you will not be able to enter the room, so if you put out unnecessary items such as trash cans and towels in the room in front of the door, we will collect them.

Good location , just in front of toyama station with many restaurants and shops . Breakfast wasnt good though but i guess thats what you expect for a free breakfast

They only have smoking room. This hotel used heavily by tour groups, super crowded. Staff not too friendly.

Room was bigger than others in Japan, and very comfortable Location is really convenient a few steps from the JR station. Alot of good food nearby. The breakfast is lovely and delicious too.

The hotel is very close to the train station and shopping mall.The room is larger than I thought. You can walk to toyama castle and glass museum about 15 mins by foot. Staffs are nice. I'm impressed with a lady kit they gave so much. I'll stay here next time.

Brand new big hotel right in front of Toyama station and handy to everything in the city. Service was efficient but cool and impersonal. Breakfast adequate but not delicious homemade like our smaller business hotel. They charged 68 yen for two local calls on room phone. Maybe typical but came off stingy. Seemed clean everywhere but we saw one cockroach on 18th floor in hall.

Very uncomfortable with no flexibility around check in times, not even 15', bad breakfast and paper thin walls. Also there is a weird noise starting beeping around 6am.

Overall it was nice. Very convenient access to the train station. However I was disappointed that it was so hard to get hot water in the shower before 6:30am. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but it certainly was annoying

Toyoko Inn 2 nearer the train station.
Very near JR Station and Dentetsu Toyama station. We stayed overnight as a starting point for the Alpine route. Good service and hospitality except of course, the staff has difficulty in speaking in English. All ok but please be aware of what you do in the elevator, there is a camera inside the elevator and there is a screen above the elevator doors at the lobby area, guests waiting to take the elevator can see those riding the elevators. I was a bit surprised about this. I was also surprised about how the bed in the room is placed, leaving a bit of unused space in one side of the bed. Ask for the free tram tickets as they do not give it out freely.
