“We loved our stay here and the staff was super helpful and kind. The property is beautiful and the rooms are very nicely updated. The staff is so kind and they went above and beyond with any simple request. The only reason I gave the amenities a 4 instead of 5 is they were closed due to some rainy weather. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. I used their washing machine and dryer and detergent and softener were available.

“We are currently on a 5,000 mile road trip through New England- a ‘bucket list’ trip we’ve been planning for years- with lodging varying from Wyndham to Hilton’s and others in between. When we found this resort on Expedia, we happily booked a room. To be completely honest, this was the most anticipated stop of our trip. “Would highly recommend AWOL. Excellent location walkable from the village, but also far enough to feel like you are in your own retreat. We stayed in the lodge and the room was very nice—good bed, TV, bathroom, amenities. The breakfast is terriific and much better than the standard free continental breakfast.
