We loved our stay at Joanna's place as always! We come back every summer and make wonderful family memories on Crystal Lake. Joanna is very helpful and responsive. Her kitchen is well stocked and she is very thoughtful about providing shampoo and laundry soap. Thank you again!

This cottage is a home away from home. We had 8 guests, including 2 energetic boys. Everyone felt there was plenty of room, privacy, and comfort. Communication with the owner is easy and pleasant.The property team was quick with their response and solution. We hope to enjoy this M22 cottage again!

Great Stay

Property was everything and more!!! Great for adults with active toddlers. Location was perfect for quiet time and quick access to Frankfort, Crystal Lake, and Sleeping Bear. Hosts are wonderful.

Another wonderful vacation

We stayed at Joanna’s place for two weeks and we wished it was longer. She is a very thoughtful host and the house is well stocked. We love the walkability to crystal lake beach and all the family activities nearby. Thank you Joanna.

We had a great anniversary weekend and the property was perfect. When we arrived the owners had a card and a bottle of wine waiting for us which was very nice. House is very big and set up very well. Our next trip up north I’m sure we will be coming back to stay again.

Fantastic place

Our family has been coming to the area for over 40 years and this is the nicest "cabin" we have stayed at in the area. Everything was extremely clean and there is plenty of space for the family to hang out, play cards, etc. It is perfectly located to enjoy all the activities the area has to offer. We will definitely be renting this property again in the future!

We stayed the weekend with two of our daughters while our third daughter got married. The location was great and the accommodations were perfect! The cottage is absolutely beautiful!

Returning Next Year (3rd stay)

Once again, we had an excellent stay at the cottage (we booked for next year the day we got home). Because the cottage was roomy, comfortable, and beautiful, it always felt like a bit of heaven on earth to come back to at the end of a day trip or to just relax with a good book.

Perfect place to host a family gathering

The house is spacious, clean, and well equipped. It is nestled in the trees and has a great screened in porch. We loved the location as it was a quick drive to Frankfort public beach. We watched the sunset from there every evening. Empire Bluff and Sleeping Bear dunes were a 30 minute, scenic drive away.

Friends reunion

This was the nicest property we have stayed in since our group started meeting 10 years ago. It was immaculate, spacious, very tastefully furnished and decorated, and the kitchen in particular was amazingly supplied and organized. A peaceful retreat for sure.

Beautiful up north cottage!

We had an awesome vacation week in this Frankfort cottage. Just a hop, skip and jump away from town, beaches, biking, hiking and more. The cottage had all the space and amenities we needed. Perfect for the kids, their grandmothers and us! The only thing we missed was an outdoor eating space and a fire pit. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
