We had a restful and enjoyable three-day weekend in this beautiful house! The kitchen was so well equipped, it was better than my own! Enjoyed the short ride to downtown Frankfort to wonder around the farmers market and small business. Awesome property!!!

Great Stay

Property was everything and more!!! Great for adults with active toddlers. Location was perfect for quiet time and quick access to Frankfort, Crystal Lake, and Sleeping Bear. Hosts are wonderful.

Wedding weekend!

We stayed the weekend with two of our daughters while our third daughter got married. The location was great and the accommodations were perfect! The cottage is absolutely beautiful!

Another wonderful vacation

We stayed at Joanna’s place for two weeks and we wished it was longer. She is a very thoughtful host and the house is well stocked. We love the walkability to crystal lake beach and all the family activities nearby. Thank you Joanna.

Wonderful summer vacation home!

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! This is our second summer staying here and we absolutely love it. The location is very convenient to the CSA and the lake. The home is very spacious, kitchen is well stocked, and Joanna is very accommodating and responsive. We especially loved having the fire place as this summer we had a few colder rainy days during our stay. Highly recommend! Thank you Joanna!

Ironman Support Team

The cottage provided a great place to hangout, before a family member participated in the Ironman. The layout was perfect for family dinner and football viewing, while she relaxed before the race. It was in the perfect location to allow for extra rest, before her race.

Approachable Luxury Summer Vacation

The property is exceptionally high quality and beautifully maintained. The floor plan includes an open format kitchen/living/dining area, perfect for eating and socializing. The kitchen/bathrooms/and laundry room were generously outfitted with all the needed supplies, had high end appointments, and felt like home! We very much liked the location - walking distance to Crystal Beach, a bike ride away from downtown Frankfort, and convenient to Sleeping Bear Dunes trails. Joanna and her team offered such kind hospitality: acknowledging our daughter's upcoming wedding with a lovely wine basket; gifting us a gift certificate to a fabulous Italian restaurant in Frankfort, and even custom thank you notes to remember our stay. We recommend this home without ANY hesitation and hope we can return.

Fantastic in every way!

We enjoyed everything about this property! All 6 adults in our group were more than impressed. Location: only about 5 minutes from Frankfort, but in a woodsy area. Deer visited the yard more than once. The house: beautiful, with quality furnishings. Every item you could think of has been provided; attention to detail is incredible (I.e. well-equipped kitchen, with a printed guide to help you find everything). Comfortable beds. Beautiful well-functioning fireplace. Spacious, relaxing (and clean!) screened porch. Cleanliness: spotless everywhere. A great home base for all the fun things to do in the Benzie/Leelanau counties area. We would all return to this lovely home again!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is very accommodating, spacious and the kitchen is very well stocked with any type of appliance you might need. The area also has lots to offer- we enjoyed several of the restaurants in town and also enjoyed several hikes in Sleeping Bear Dunes. Highly recommend this property!

This house is fabulous! It is exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything that you need. The beds are comfortable with plenty of space throughout. Four women stayed and not one complaint. That is saying a lot! We would love to stay here again, if we come back to this area.

The host/homeowner continued to wow us a second year in a row. We had a wonderful time - and SOOO easy. The kitchen/entire house isbetter equipped than our home. The personal touches - welcome gifts, toiletries. all kitchen/laundry items are ALL provided. The home is immaculate and set up for easy transition from our home to vacation home.
