「The room was clean and spacious, with a small double appointed as a single bed which was lovely. Loads of storage space too. The bathroom was excellent, really big for a single room, and stocked with the amazing Bloom Remedies products I've come to love in this chain. I booked last minute and asked to be placed in the quietest part of the hotel, which was accommodated. The hotel is a beautiful building with lush grounds, ample parking and is situated only a 10-15min stroll from the city...

「The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. Other than the noise and parking, everything else was...

「Leaving aside the novelty value, this is an excellent hotel. Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting. The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices. Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful.
