“good location to see northern light, we enjoy amazing light in front of the door , host maria and eivind are very friendly aslo the animals. the mountain and sea view make us relaxing and confortable. the kitchen was good for usto make our food. We and my son very enjoy staying these 2 days and make a lot of beautiful photos. we will come next time in summer and looking forward to seeing the host .”

When the hotel staff took us to the room we realise it is actually an apartment close to 1km away from the hotel with various slopes we immediately realise that there will be issues when we check out as two of us are carrying four heavy luggages. “Prachtig huisje met alles wat je ervan verwacht en nodig hebt. Prima inrichting, lekkere bedden en werkelijk prachtige locatie. 5-sterren ontbijt! Zelfs een zeehond pal voor de deur. Wel een afgelegen locatie, in het laagseizoen is het restaurant dicht en zijn er geen andere restaurants openin de buurt. Dus vooraf even informeren is het advies. Huisje beschikt over een goede keuken en de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is een klein halfuurtje rijden. Echt een aanrader. Vanuit de accommodatie kun je……

“Ekkerøya er et fantastisk utgangspunkt for å oppleve Varanger med bil. Huset ligger på tarmen ut mot øya, midt mellom to flotte strender. Perfekt med et forfriskende bad i Varangerfjorden før en økt i badstua. Strendene konkurrerer med verdens beste, mens like bortenfor ligger Havhesten som er en sjarmerende familierestaurant drevet sommerstid. Selve huset er enkelt, men rent og pent, med det meste av utstyr en trenger. Hyggelig kommunikasjon. Anbefaler en tur til Bugøynes og Hamningberg. ”
