Amazing place to stay with amazing ski amenities

This is an amazing property that books for less than the same apartment through the Ritz - and you get access to all the same amenities - and the pantry is well stocked of all the essentials you could need for your ski vacation. I literally have nothing bad to say about this condo, it is that good!

This was such a splendid experience

This penthouse was worth much more that the cost. It was an exceptional place, and my family really enjoyed it. I will encourage everyone who wants a once-in-a-lifetime experience to visit this penthouse. It is worth the money. The host, Aaron was phenomenal.

Absolutely perfect

My family and I could not be more thrilled with this property. The location and resort itself are truly second to none. The private residence on-property is the absolute perfect option for a family (or friend group) that desires all the amenities of a world-class brand like the Ritz-Carlton with the added bonus of privacy when desired. The property owner (Aaron) is incredibly responsive and constantly in communication to ensure a terrific visit. We've used VRBO properties consistently, including several in the Lake Tahoe area. This listing is truly A. Many, many thanks to Aaron and the incredible staff at the Ritz.

Amazing property and the greatest host of all time

This property is beautiful, a great location right on the mountain for ski in ski out all Ritz amenities. Spacious 3 bedroom with fun every convenience of TVs, stocked with dishes, laundry, etc. I have to mention the host though, he went above and beyond to make our stay great and he succeeded. I've never experienced sich a great host!

Simply the best

From soup to nuts this was simply the single best experience with an owner we have had and the place itself was even better!!!...Perfect for our family 5. The residence was specatcular and at the same time and we felt relaxed like we were at home. The owners had literally thought of everything and we will not hesitate to return. If we could give 6 stars we would. We were able to relax and also do a ton of fun things and the staff at the property were attentive without being overbearing.

Beautiful Luxurious Penthouse Loved the decor, Fantastic Owners & the RITZ goes out of their way to make your stay special:) We came for a ski weekend and enjoyed the ski valet service, warm ski boots in the morning and afternoon smores were our favorite treats oh and a dip in the jacuzzi to soak after the slopes! We enjoyed the gym one morning and let's just say the SPA is Stellar!!! Their Penthouse is fully equipped with a beautiful view and you will love being spoiled with first class service we are thrilled with our 5* stay:)

Perfect Luxury Mountain Retreat

We reserved this apartment for a group retreat at the end of summer and we could not have made a better choice. The location is ideal, the apartment is perfectly apportioned and the service at the Ritz Carlton as expected. We took a great hike, enjoyed the jacuzzi and a lively evening in the restaurant. Even when it's not ski season, I highly recommend renting this location for your escape. If you expect nothing but the best, this place will suite you just fine, especially if you want to relax and feel right at home. I look forward to our next visit to Tahoe and will make this rental our first choice for sure...only hope it's still available for us.

My friends and I booked this great home for a weekend retreat in late September, during the shoulder season of crisp days and fall leaves. What a fantastic place to come back to after a wander in the woods! The home itself is beautiful and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds -- a perfect nesting spot. And venturing out into the greater Ritz property was pretty swell, too: We spent some memorable late-night hours in the hot tub by the pool; the high-toned spa was as luxe as you might expect; and the food and wine offerings pleased the full range of our group (and we had a full range of dietary preferences). Treat yourself. You can't do better.

Sophisticated Elegance meets family friendly awesomeness!

This was absolutely the most relaxing vacation our family has ever been on. We travel quite a bit, this penthouse takes the cake! Breathtaking views, impeccable clean, spacious and comfortable. You seriously never have to get in your car, the owners have thought of everything. The Ritz is 5 star property, and it shows. Never once will you be let down with a request or question. From the spa / workout facility to the pool/ fire pits you'll be pleasantly surprised everyday. This is the place to be for a well rested vacation, you cannot go wrong. We traveled with teenagers, we all agreed on one thing, this place is fabulous. The restaurants are outstanding, and cooking in was great too. We highly recommend this penthouse, as the owners make it magical. They have thought of everything! For a vacation any season, this is the place to be. Spectacular any time of the year!

Exceptional Luxury Ski Weekend Experience

Our family just returned from a glorious weekend staying at this incredible penthouse residence. The decor was impeccable but yet the place felt cozy and inviting. The residence overlooks the gondola and a day on the slopes is as convenient as you can imagine. We literally went down to the ski concierge in the mornings in our slippers, popped on our boots and skiis (placed on the snow by the ski valet) and were off for an amazing day of skiing. At the end of the day, after gooey smores with the kids (with marshmallows homemade in the gourmet Ritz-Carlton kitchen) and a swim in the jacuzzi we happily returned to relax in this spacious home. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with all high end appliances and every utensil you need. On an off day, we spent time at the spa--which is amazing--definitely one of the finest we have visited. We experienced only top level service, as would be expected at the Ritz-Carlton. The owners of the residence are very attentive to the needs of their guests and cleary care about making your experience easy and enjoyable. We can't wait to return!

Perfect spot

The location is great even for non-downhill skiers. We cross-country skied, snow-mobiled and backcountry snowshoed. This place is at the center of it all. The condo is very comfortable - the heated floors in the bathroom say it all. The owners were great - slight snafu at the check-in process was graciously handled and all was well. Because this isn't a Ritz-Carlton rental, the front desk needs confirmation from the host and the hotel staff hadn't gotten it (but the owner had sent it.) Everyone couldn't have been nicer and it made absolutely no difference to the overall stay which was fantastic. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful property and location

Great way to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. The hotel was really nice and they treated us with top notch hospitality. Aaron, the property manager, was very attentive to our requests and made every effort to make our stay something to remember. Our friends and family were impressed as well. Our 2nd night we brought our boys up to enjoy it, the bunk beds were a hit, the arcade on the lower level of the hotel also was a great addition. We spent some time both days in the heated pool and hot tub. Cooking was easy with cooking supplies at hand, and they had multiple choices for coffee makers, our favorite being the barista style coffee maker. Well appointed rooms throughout. We would definitely love to come again.

Of course you can never go wrong with the Ritz nor can you go wrong with the penthouse in the Ritz. What really set this apart from other experiences we’ve had at other locations is Aaron was unbelievable. He was so proactive and very caring to make sure we’re having a good time and everything is taken care of. We fully intend to come back and he was a huge difference maker. I/we highly recommend this property!

Great Long weekend

This is a beautiful property on the 6th floor/penthouse level. We have stayed at the Ritz many times before and this residence is amazing! Aaron was awesome from right after booking until the day we left. He made sure everything met expectations and beyond. Very easy to contact and quick reply for all questions. Bonus of "endless" amount of Smores provided by the owner. We will definitely be coming back to stay. Bunk beds were awesome for our 7 and 9 year old kids.

It doesn't get any better! Penthouse 3bdr condo on top floor of Ritz Carlton with ski-in ski out access to Northstar ski resort along with access to the Ritz spa, hotel amenities and ski concierge. Our family had a great time skiing at Northstar and exploring Lake Tahoe area. Aaron is a great host and checked on us frequently to make sure our stay was perfect. A great property and a great owner!

Our family likes this Ritz property because of it’s fantastic mountain location but we now love this property because of unit 609 and it’s owner. Everything is in great shape and Aaron makes sure you feel like you are in a home - not a rental. The property came fully-stocked with many basics (like coffee and all the fixins’ for s’mores), is well-kept, has charging stations everywhere (to handle any groups’ needs) and when we did have a minor problem, Aaron was incredibly responsive - solving the problem with distinction. Thank you Aaron for a wonderful break! We will definitely be back!

The most luxurious trip ever!

We had such a wonderful time at this property. Everything was absolutely perfect. Aaron's home was clean, beautiful and very serene. He always stayed one step ahead of us regarding our needs and comfort. We will definitely be staying here again!
