Great location in Northstar!

We had a great stay! It was nice to be close to the bike park. Lots of stairs but would stay again!

Awesome Condo in a great location

This place was all we could have hoped for, super clean, plenty of room, comfortable beds, it worked out great for the kids that were with us, and it was within walking distance of the Northstar Rec center. The constant reminders of the Truckee short term rental rules was a bit excessive, but I also understand the concern. I would be more than happy to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Northstar Rendevous

The property was nice, clean and as described. However, no air conditioning and no real fan to circulate air and that was not described. Additionally, it was not made clear that while 2 passes to the owner rec plex was made available you still had a fee for everyone staying in the condo. No easy way to dispose of trash and the lock was combination was changed prior to check out. Luckily one of us was still in the condo as we loaded the car or we would have been locked out. And when I called the management company, I never got a call back.

Family ski trip

Took my family and the grandparents on a ski trip at Northstar. The place is at a great location for the free ski shuttle pick up a short walk down the parking lot. All was clean and ready for our arrival. Good trip overall.

Good, but a little stiff

The house was as advertised, very good condition, clean and well taken care off. The management company was communicative but was so focused on rules in all their communications it made it feel like we were going to stay in a museum where we couldn’t relax.

Good North Star skiing location

Overall we had a great weekend. I did not expect to have to carry out trash and wash my sheets since I am paying a cleaning fee. Lots of rules and fines for not obeying everywhere posted.

Clean, well-maintained, great for families with kids

This place was a great base for families with kids to explore Tahoe. Leather sofa and dining table seemed new and nice, but I appreciated even more how clean the bed sheets, towels, and carpet were. Initially we thought it was a bit odd to be told to run a dishwasher and laundry machine at the check-out time, but it was not a problem actually doing it. Milk frother was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it's a thumbs-up!

Lovely property, but not a 'skier's' resort

We were very happy with the property and ability of the property management to accomodate changes due to weather when a situation arose with an incoming storm and road closures. We found Northstar, however, to be a 'destination' resort rather than one geared toward skiers. The shuttles ran too infrequently for us, waits for the shuttle were long, and there was an hour delay on a powder day between when lifts started operating at the resort and the shuttle actually started running. Next time we will stay at another mountain.
