Ron was an excellent host. Property grounds have absolutely amazing views of the Saguaro desert. Comfortable master king bed and kitchen has everything one would need.

Wonderful house with plenty of room. Amazing view of the city, even better at night. Easy communication with host. Close enough to town you can get what you need without taking a big chunk of your day. Far enough from town to see the city lights and a good amount of stars. Short drive gets you to gates pass and into the national park. All arouns great place to stay

This is the PERFECT desert getaway. Had our 4 & 6 year old grandsons and parents for several days of the stay and the kids loved the pool and seeing the wildlife and cactus. 4 very comfy lounge chairs with cushions with 3 umbrellas for late afternoon shade. Landscaping and lighting made the evening gorgeous. We had a beautiful full moon to enjoy one night. You can’t ask for a better view and neighborhood is very private. The kitchen has every spice, oil, utensils and cookware you need to make anything. We enjoyed cooking out every night. Only left house 2 times to stock up more food. All the beds were extremely comfortable and bedding soft. Spent evenings on the porch eating dinner and then finishing off the night around the fire pit with our last drink. Can’t ask for better accommodations anywhere. This is on the top of our list to be back again.

The sun shone on the pool til about 5 in the afternoon so you had all day to enjoy it. Hours were spent on the patio.The house was clean and had everything we needed.Granddaughter loved the open spaces and views of the city at night for pictures. Second time staying here and couldn't be happier. Thank you Ron

We had a wonderful long weekend at Ron's house. The description of the property is solid and Ron met us to take us over some of the finer points, setting up the Jacuzzi etc.The house itself is in a wonderful setting, great views over the area, very quiet and well maintained. The pool was a welcome relief after the 110 heat of the Tucson day. Jacuzzi for a relaxing time after dinner.Wildlife visited daily, with Road Runners and Mule deer stopping by. Lots of Gila Woodpeckers and hummingbirds.The location is great for easy access to many of the local sites, with the Desert Museum being 10 mins away. Coloassal Caves 30 and Mount Lemon about 45 to an hour.Our family of 4 had just a great time. If you want a quiet, peacful, relaxing stay but with easy access to sites you won't find a better spot in Tucson.

Beautiful Scenery!

Graduation Week in Tucson!! Bear Down

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Awesome kitchen, lots of space for 8 people and super fun backyard. Swimming, spa, bbq and we were able to witness the wildlife in the area. Ron was an awesome host. I would most definitely recommend staying here. We were far enough away from town to enjoy the beautiful canyons and privacy but yet only 15 minutes from the UOA Campus .

Fantastic setting, comfortable home

We had a lovely week at Ron's home. For us, the location and setting were perfect, as we were looking to be in the mountains and close to the west side of the park/the desert museum. The home was as described and had more than enough room for our family of five. We used the pool daily. As an owner, Ron was extremely helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Twinkling stars, gated community, cactus views, and plenty of wildlife! Plus clean, gorgeous house!

This house is incredible! Twinkling city lights as seen from the hot tub, cactus views in the daytime, quiet gated neighborhood filled with birds and wildlife. Chirping birds in the morning, sunrise on the deck, alpenglow at night on surrounding mountains. Friendly neighbors and safe (and hilly) streets to walk. Fancy fresh-grind by-the-cup coffeemaker, freshly filled hot tub, immaculate pool. The owner, Ron, is perfectly responsive, delightful, friendly, and uber helpful. He gave us great restaurant recommendations and answered every question almost immediately. He's a foodie so the kitchen supplies are high end and all work well. Great knives, nice cutting boards, fancy pots and pans, fun cookbooks, granite countertops! Provided coffee and tea of many varieties and an electric kettle. Double ovens with electric panels make cooking easy. Enormous stainless gas range and easy to use outdoor grill and blue glass gas fire pit with surrounding table. When nighttime comes around, there are soft duvets covered with crisp white sheets, plenty of fluffy towels, quiet clothes washer and dryer and dishwasher. Cozy living room with impressive granite (!) fireplace, comfy sectional couch for teens and family to cuddle and watch movies and sports on the huge TV, plus plenty of games and puzzles for family laughs. I could never have imagined such a wonderful place for my family to stay over Christmas. We made so many amazing memories that will live in my heart forever! Thank you Ron!!!

Adult family getaway

This property is unbelievable in so many ways from the bottom of the driveway up to the backyard oasis and everything in between. My family of eight felt at home even though the property itself is large. We could’ve played hide and go seek in there if we wanted to. And the views from every single window seem as though they were perfectly placed to see the surroundings of the beautiful desert untouched dessert. We were able to watch the sunrise and the sunset from the patio and even caught some monsoons quenching the summer heat. The skyline view we had on the patio dinner table was priceless! Two of my adult children are chefs and they put very good use to the state of the art kitchen. There were so many amenities that one could not complain and to top it off, our gracious host, Ronald was like one of the family answering all the questions and helping us with anything that we needed making us all feel at home! I would 100% bring my family back here again and again! Thanks for all the memories Ronald!

Relaxing by the Pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Saguaro Canyon. The home was clean and well-maintained and was just as described in the listing. We found plenty of activities to keep ourselves busy, but the pool was the star of our trip. After exploring in the mornings, we'd spend much of the afternoon just chilling in the back yard, enjoying the pool and the views. Highly recommended! One note: Google Maps shows a loop around the neighborhood, but this is misleading since some of the loop is private property. Nevertheless, there are plenty of trails in the area if you want to go for a walk.

Baseball Training

We were in town for college baseball spring training at Kino Sports Complex. The house was perfect location and offered plenty of space to relax and recharge. Convenient groceries and restaurants near by as well. Ron was easy to work with and house is as advertised!

The house was in a beautiful location with excellent views. It needed some repairs/updates. You couldn’t call it 4 bedrooms as the 4th bedroom had no door/closet or dresser. It seemed to need a good cleaning inside, We had problems with the electrical, the bathtubs needed repair and had broken cabinets drawers in the kitchen.

Well equipped house

Nice place near west saguaro np. Its expensive but comfortable and convenient. Lovely area. Really 3 bedrooms since 4th has no door. Great if you can handle the cost or for couples sharing a room.

View of the desert near the city

This property was a great fit for our needs! Went with a group of friends. Everything was exactly as described. We were really impressed with the view. Beds were very comfortable. Host was helpful and easy to communicate with.
