“Must go”

“The little cabin was conveniently located. We easily walked to downtown for shopping and dinner. Room was comfortable for our one night stay. We did not use the kitchen facilities.”

“This place is full of wildlife and secluded. We all enjoyed are time there.”

“Loved how secluded it felt while still being minutes from town. Had everything we were looking. Especially loved listening to all the birds on the balcony in the mornings.”

“Nice quaint cabin close to town. We enjoyed our stay and host was proactive.”

“Perfect little getaway spot! 2 people and a dog fit nicely if you’re open to a small space. Well appointed and modern. The bathroom area is quite small so just be prepared for that. The wrap around porch was lovely to relax all day. Quiet surroundings and wildlife all around. I’d come back every weekend if I could!”

“Super comfy bed! Close to everything. 5/5 would definitely stay here again!”

“Location very nice. Watch weather for flood Watch warnings-can affect road travels. Otherwise good experience.”

“This was our second time staying at the Blue Jay Nest, and we already can’t wait to come back! Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location is peaceful, the views are incredible, and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Communication with the host was excellent, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Every aspect of our stay was truly 5-star.……

“Beautiful cabin. We loved how quiet and dark it was at night. No city noise, no obnoxious lights from neighboring homes. Only peace a quite which is what we needed. The cabin is cozy and well maintained.”

“This is a very quaint cabin for just 2 people. It has all the basics but if you intend on making some food there, bring the spices. Coffee brewer is good and plenty of filters are on hand. The bed is really comfy. The toilet must have been put in for a 5 year old because it is the shortest I have ever sat on. Location is really nice and close to the downtown area and plenty of wildlife roaming around. Cabin is a real rustic feel and we felt really comfortable there. All in all in was a……

“Comfortable.”

“We enjoyed the cabin very much, A couple of minor things came up but did not distract from the stay. However, the grounds are an issue. We understand that the area experienced a flood about a year ago which was devastating to the entire town. But one would expect the area of rentable cabins to be presentable. Overgrown grass and weeds dominated. Also, the pond in the middle of the cabins does not look anything as the advertisement. In fact, it was dry and the pump house is collapsed. The……

“We loved our stay at this lovely cabin! It was so conveniently located and had an awesome view. The beds were a little uncomfortable but we had a awesome experience and can’t wait to be back!”

“Responsive, clean, beautiful cabin in a beautiful location!”

“There’s a “make yourself at home” feeling as soon as you walk into the cabin. They’ve thought of everything to provide a worry free stay. Our kids ages 10-16 thoroughly annoyed the downstairs room. We all enjoyed the hummingbirds on the balcony and evenings out front. Kids had plenty of room to enjoy time outside. We were able to see quite a few elk that hung out on the side of the cabin and deer coming thru morning and evening. It’s a nice neighborhood as well. Would love to come back in winter……

“We wanted a quick night away in the mountains. This rental checked all the boxes for us. The cabin was modern and well laid out. The setting was lovely and we spent a very nice evening sitting outside watching the sun go down from the front porch. We will definitely be back.”
