Hotel Shibari was very welcoming. Staff was very accommodating! Randy at ATTA was the best server we have had in a while. They were helpful recommendations for tours and booking transportation. We did a mother daughter trip and the gated hotel made my husband feel more at ease that we were traveling abroad…can’t wait to go back!!!!

Place was nice but could’ve been kept better. I got probably over 30 mosquito bites because there was a gap in in the window that couldn’t be covered. The water and electric went out middle of the night before check out, and I found out because my cpap turned off and I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t shower or brush my teeth. It was raining hard so in order to get to the front desk from my room I had to walk through ankle height water. It could’ve been easily fixed if they put a drain or something. When I got to the front desk soaking wet staff just stared at me and didn’t offer a towel or anything. Basically just said you owe this for stuff from the mini bar. Didn’t help me with my bags either.Couldn’t swim in the cenote too dirty. Food too expensive and im from San Francisco.
