Definitely NOT up to Royal standards…
Promoted as a “Royal Room” with a 50% discount, it turned out to be an extremely ordinary room at twice the usual price due to a big event on at the time. The room was stark (a shabby dream catcher bring the only decoration), the mattress hard, the pillows thin, and the bathroom very ordinary and dangerously slippery when wet. The air conditioner was clapped out and couldn’t cool below 20C. All in all, if this was a Royal Room I wouldn’t want to see the Peasant Rooms… Not worth it.

This was a small property but a very good one. We stayed here for three nights and everything worked very well. The property is in a good location and has an adjacent restaurant and across the street from a supermarket. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The only thing that I found unusual is that the rooms do not have a TV. This is not a big deal but I did not really notice this in the descriptions of the rooms.

Love the place! Super clean, pool, friendly staff, offers tours, next to restaurant. Restaurant a little noise if yiu are looking for a quiet place to stay, but the hotel is very nice and bed super comfy.

Staff were super helpful and friendly, as were the staff at the very good restaurant that is connected. The ambiance and central garden were beautiful, and the rooms were nice for the price. Would definitely stay here again!

Disappointing customer service from the hotel and hotels.com - my flight got canceled right after I made the room reservation (arriving the next day) and even though I booked an extra night for when i got another flight (arriving 2 days later), they wouldn't refund the initial booking. Clean but extremely minimal room. Very small bathroom. Construction noise and dust everywhere around the place. Sadly Tulum is losing it's idyllic feel, i had been warned about this before my trip. Managed to find a few places still with some character near town (hope those remain open). Careful with varying taxi prices and the places on the beach strip cost more than any US, Euro cities.

Only good thing was location and the balcony. Room was very basic,bathroom extremely tiny. No breakfast available at hotel not even coffee. The restaurant next door you could eat your meals there if you wanted. It would have been nice if we were given a discount there. There was a coffee maker and kettle though but you had to buy the tea or coffee. Water provided was not actual mineral water the bottles were labeled “Voss” but who knows what water they filled them with. There is an amazing supermarket called Chedraoui across the street that had literally anything you need from food to clothes to luggage to souvenirs! Lighting was flourescent in the room and bathroom quite dark as the lighting was very poor. Bed and pillows very very uncomfortable.

I booked a studio with two bedrooms, the description was printed on my Expedia receipt. Unfortunately, the hotel has NO two bedroom suites. People arrive frequently with similar Expedia reservations. The hotel has not been able to correct the mistake that Expedia keeps making. Please eliminate this listing from your wedsite.

Wish was nice!
The room was nice. It was on the 3rd floor which was great. There was a small balcony with a sliding glass door. The room had 3 beds but no TV. Free Wifi was available & worked without a problem. The Staff was really nice. The location is great because there is shopping and Entertainment nearby. The beach was about a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

Nice place but there’s a place across the street that Playa club music until 1:30am every night. So if you actually want to rest or sleep it’s not nice. The room and service were great.

I have stayed at this hotel several times but this last time it just seemed run down. The pool area needs a bbq pit or music and more light at night. Other than that the hotel is good. I will return everytime I'm in Tulum.

This property is outside of the hotel strip in Tulum. However, the parting is felt all around the town and a good night sleep is nearly impossible. In this property the bathroom are super small, the beds are super hard and hot tub is not hot. There is only like 6 parkings available which people use up due to there restaurant hotel. Overall I would not recommend staying if you are looking for the Tulum vibes.

Wish is a perfect spot for enjoying Tulum and its sourroundings at a good price. We stayed there for 5 nights and went on tours and enjoyed Tulum nightlife before we went off to a more beachy location. Pool area is perfect in the afternoon. Very clean and friendly staff. I can also really recommend El Capitan, the restaurant in connection to the hotel.

I loved my stay at Wish. It’s attached to a restaurant next door, across the street from a huge supermarket and you can walk to a few nearby restaurants. I was able to do everything that I wanted to do. The hotel is not too far from the beach and many popular attractions. The downfalls are minor things like the room having shampoo and no conditioner, no rags to bathe (but I always carry a disposable loofah), no TV(no biggie for people who don’t care for tv) and no phone. Front desk was great. Always helpful, always greeted you as you exited and entered. If they saw you they greeted you. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Wish. It was peaceful and quiet almost all day. The most I heard was people going out. I loved it here!
