"My most memorable part of my stay at 'The House' is the employees. Every one of them , from bartenders to restaurant staff were so kind and helpful in every possible way. A few standouts were , Agnes and Pat ( kitchen ) and Kwesi who did so much to make the guests comfortable. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beach was beautiful. We also loved the gourmet food. We're hoping to make it back here in the next couple years. "

luxury apartment with plunge pool, (sole use) terrace and sea views

"This was one of the best places I've stayed since i began travelling. It's private even with the plunge pool, clean and safe. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and more! And all items are of very good quality. There are several item for taking care of the kids as well. From coolers and beach towels for tou use on the beaches, to movies, books and games for when you're back. The kitchen has ALL the utensils you can imagine for any dish and there's also a BBQ grill for ypur meats. The appartment is spacious and located close to several beaches, such as mullins beach which is 4 minutes away. It's also close to hayman's market, which is a must-go. The host, Maria, is a wonderful host who gives you all the information you need to move around easily to all the best activities on the island. If I ever return to Barbados I'll definitely be staying here again. "

"We arrived at the property in the late evening and were met by a very welcoming owner who invited myself and daughter into our chosen accommodation. Nothing can prepare you for the magnificent view we encountered on our first morning !!!! Everything you need is catered for (basically it was home from home) The area is very safe The property is extremely cool with all around fresh breezes keeping temperatures comfortable. Please don’t have any doubts staying here (Kelvin the owner) is extremely helpful and does everything to make your stay comfortable without intruding on your privacy. We will definitely book this little gem again If you are looking for a peaceful holiday with easy access to the west of the island then a stay here is highly recommended Thank you Kelvin you did yourself proud "

Beachfront cottage with air conditioning and stunning views of Bathsheba

Surfers Paradise

"This is a perfect surfers location. Beautiful surf directly across the street, the pictures are accurate, the neighbors are friendly and sitting on the porch watching the surf was heaven. It is not "fancy" - if you have a high maintenance American with you this will not be your rental, but if you want a perfect surf spot to enjoy the views and relax book it. The owner was accessible by What's app as was the car rental co. Be sure to stop for groceries before getting to Bathsheba (only a little market nearby very pricey) and walk to the local spots for meals (some are open on weekends only). We needed a car. On the island you will need GPS (google maps worked) - roads are not well marked. The owner of the VRBO set us up on a fabulous fishing trip - caught Wahoo, Mahi and Barracuda. Definitely recommend if you have the right group. We will be coming back. "

"I'm a pulmonary & critical care physician in Florida, USA. I have lived in many different countries and traveled to more than 40 different countries on 6 different continents. I love nature, healthy living, good-hearted people and delicious food. My week at Naniki cottages under the guidance of my friend and mentor Tom (the owner), has changed my outlook at life. This place is a piece of paradise. No mosquitoes, nothing poisonous or harmful on the island, right next to the best surfing in the Caribbean (the soup bowl) and overall a therapeutic retreat. That mountain in St. Joseph is ranked 3rd in the world in longevity; most people live to 100 years old. I will be going back again and again as I intend to purchase a plot of land in the area to build my dream vacation home for my family one day. "
