「The stay was simply awesome」

「This dilapidated saloon smells like an ashtray, and we found the desk clerk smoking in the lobby. Being allergic to cigarette smoke, we bailed. I demanded a refund, THEY CHARGED ME FOR A ROOM ANYWAY!!! RUN DO NOT BOOK OR STAY HERE」

「I stayed at the Bayside and they’re the old part of the lodge. I stayed in these rooms when I was working at the Lodge ofThe Four Seasons when I’d get snowed in. It seems like they haven’t changed since 1979. The hot water would suddenly turn cold, and then suddenly turn scolding hot, in the shower. Water doesn’t drain very well. The carpet looks old and worn out and dated, beds too and the sheeting. I swear I stepped back in time. I checked for bedbugs, but I didn’t see any sign of any. This...

「The rooms aren’t the cleanest and the tv is a piece of junk. Not something you’d expect living in 2026. Fin city arcade and billiards room is awesome along with the pools. The staff is great and very accommodating. We enjoyed our time but if back in same area will probably stay elsewhere.」

「I’ve never experienced a team of employees so eager to go home. They literally told people relaxing at the pool to get up so they could remove pool cushions 30 minutes before close so they could go home early. Bar closed early… basically when the bartender felt like it, restaurant closed early too. Nothing ever happened as advertised. 「The location of the Lake House Inn was great for visiting my husband's brother and his girlfriend. The room was attractively decorated, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the room reasonably clean (baseboards and walls are due a good wipe-down, though). TP dispenser was MUCH too far from the toilet and there was a faceplate for a control to a nonexistent heat lamp that hung loose from the wall. Maybe remove the faceplate and TP dispenser and plaster over those spots? DO NOT book through...
