“We had the most wonderful stay at East View – it truly felt homely, comfortable, and cosy from the moment we arrived. The quaint charm of Garrigill made our trip so special, and even though the weather was harsh, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more, especially spending evenings by the fireplace.
Lana was absolutely wonderful in taking care of us. She went above and beyond to organise a delicious vegan breakfast and made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable. Her warm hospitality really……

“We had a fantastic stay at this quirky and beautiful hotel. Even though we had booked the petite double room it didn't disappoint. As hotel rooms go it wasn't small. Beautifully decorated with beautiful ornate furniture and very comfy bed. Tea , coffee and water replenished every day. The breakfast and food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were excellent, lovely and friendly. We would definitely go back.

“This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area.
We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been.
The rooms were warm and clean, and had been newly decorated, the bedding was clean and crisp.
The breakfast was adequate, all self serve, tea, coffee, juices, cereals, packet meats and pastries.

“We stopped for 1 night. The rooms were absolutely spotless, had everything you needed for a B&B. We were able to check in sooner than 3pm. the food was lovely. Great location, there was a hotel with a bar within about a 15 min walk. The couple who own it were really friendly. Weve already booked up to go back in june.”

“Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal!
Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend.”
