「The room was clean very rustic. The bathroom could use an upgrade. Our toilet rocked and the tub coating was peeling. Other than that, our stay was comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.」

「When I arrived, I was a little worried as it is an older hotel and just didn't have the curb appeal of most hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel that appears to be in transition and trying to be updated. Don't get me wrong this is no 4 or 5 star hotel but it was clean, in a great location and the front desk staff was kind and courteous. For the price, this hotel was perfect. 「Harbor Lights Lodge has a back parking lot that is kitty corner from the start of the Ahnapee State Trail. This was very convenient as we were bicycling that trail. Room was clean (laminate wood floor) and quiet. Walking distance from restaurants and the harbor.」
