Overall very satisfied with our stay. The pool access was inconvenient since there was a pool on the property we stayed at but were unable to use for an unknown reason. The carpet in the bedrooms were very hard and not easy to walk on. The location of the property was perfect.

Worked for the weekend

We didn’t love the long stairs to the entrance and wish the front door would have had a curtain. Our neighbors were loud and could hear their music late into the night Friday and Monday. It is a nice place with plenty of towels and kitchen items. It was nice to have a washer dryer on site and the beds were comfy.

Engagement celebration

My fiancée and I got engaged after Christmas and wanted to take an impromptu trip to celebrate and ring in the New Year. El Rey2 looked stunning on the listing, and did not disappoint at arrival. Extremely well appointed, clean, and comfortable with a location that was convenient for exploring Savannah and Tybee Island. We had a couple of reasons to reach out to the host and they were quick to respond and provide assistance. If we ever return to the area we’d be sure to book again.

El Rey 2 Tybee island

Overall impressed with the space. The only trouble we had was we weren’t able to use the internet out first night of our stay because the wrong username/password was communicated in our welcome email. But got it resolved the next day after communication with the host. Also the tvs were somewhat confusing to find something to watch. One other thing that I noticed upon our arrival was that the countertop on the island had not been wiped down/cleaned as well as it could have been.

Unit 2 Stay

Had a couple of problems getting in the front door, but folks were very responsive at helping. Could benefit from some lighting up the steps for arrival at night, as steps are dark. Would have LOVED to have been able to make use of the pool, but it was closed. Definitely would consider visit back though!!! :)

Don’t forget your beach towels

This place was great! Loved the location and accommodations. The only feedback I have is that they did not have beach towels, I assumed they would and it did not mention to bring them in the very detailed check in email. There is also a pool onsite - literally in the backyard, but we were not allowed to use it. We had to drive to the shared pool. I get the concept of a shared pool but we had one on site and it didn’t make sense why we could not use it.

Luxurious Living

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. This is a very lovely and quiet property. This property is a few miles from downtown Tybee, which was fine for us. We loved having our own space taking our time each morning to enjoy a leisure breakfast and plan our day. The view of the marsh was very nice and calming. Watching the ducks and other birds was enjoyable. I wish we had access, though, to the backyard to birdwatch. Pretty much everything was as stated in the description. A couple things I did not care for ~ only one washcloth and towel per person. Really? Who uses the same washcloth on their face every day And, no, I'm not packing extra with me as suggested in the information. A suggestion might be to pack facial cleansing wipes. I also wish I would have brought my own hairdryer. The one available was not very high powered. The rug in the kitchen has curled corners which is a trip hazard -- it should be replaced. The furniture in the living space is very comfortable, but is showing some wear. Perhaps it is time for it to be professionally cleaned. We want to thank Southern Belle properties for the wonderful space and clear communications before, during and after our stay.

The property was super clean with high end furnishings. There was lots of natural light & pretty views. Everything was in good working order and looked fresh. The location is close to North beach. We felt a few more mixing bowls, a big enough cookie sheet for pizza, and a few more kitchen items would have been helpful. But we probably cook more than most people do on vacay. The pool out back is not open yet but looks wonderful. However, it is located immediately behind the property with access for many guests, so I could see where noise could be an issue during the day for napping kiddos or adults.

Perfect for what we needed.

We had a great time at this southern belle property. The location was great and had several places that were within walking distance. The pool was a short drive away and we never lacked street parking. The pool that is under construction in the back will definitely be a great addition to this property.
