Great place

Condo was great, spacious, clean and had what one would need. But really, this place is truly about location!!! Closest "ocean front" you'll get on Tybee, but restaurants, shops, fun food & night life are steps away!

Great beach front location

Great property on the beach and close to shops, restaurants, and bars. The water pressure is very low in the showers and the hot water runs out quickly if wanting to soak in the tubs (which are very big!), are about the only complaints. Other than that the place is very spacious, and the view and location are amazing!

Perfect weekend at the beach

This location was right for a quick weekend getaway with family, plus oceanfront views. Watching the sunrise from our room was a great start to my day. Property was cleaned and as described. Thank you

Loved everything about our stay at Tybee. The location was great.

The condo was very clean. I would rent again. A couple of items for improvement. The bedroom carpets need to be cleaned it has stains. The patio furniture is very old. A bar height table & chairs would be great to appreciate & see the ocean front view.

Good Place

We loved this property and the access to the beach. It was a very spacious and lovely condo, and very clean. The only downside was that the parking area was tough to maneuver through, and that the way check-in works isn't great. It says check-in between 4-5:30pm, however that is a LOT later than most places, which is right at 4. We actually didn't get in until 5:30pm. It would be great to be able to have it set right at 4. And then check-out is at 10am, which is also earlier than a lot of places which are at 11am. So it seems like for what you are paying you get slightly less time in the actual condo.

Not a Streamer

The bed in he master bedroom was squeaky; I am not the generation that likes to stream. When I visit a city, I like to view the local programs/news to get ideas of places to go or maybe not to go and what is going on in that city. you only allowed streaming which I am not a fan so during our down time, only had to access to old shows/out dated movies. I did like the private parking but the spaces were tight.

Great location with beach access

Pros: - very spacious corner condo on top floor - great beach view and access location - 2-car covered off-street parking in gated lot - all appliances were clean and worked as expected Cons: - you are facing the boardwalk side of the beach and next to a restaurant, so expect crowd noise throughout the day until 9-10 PM. it was rarely disruptive or disturbing to us as only the master bedroom and balcony face the beach and boardwalk. the only time it was disruptive was when some moron left their delivery truck running all day, which can frankly happen anywhere. the two bedrooms and second bathroom are inside the condo and are very quiet which is great for families. I personally enjoyed hearing the buzz of people out mingling and enjoying themselves.

Fabulous property and great location

This condo is immaculate. The reserved on site parking is definitely essential on Tybee Island. The condo is very well outfitted. It is ocean front right across the street from the beach and in the heart of all of the restaurants and shopping. The only thing that needs improvement are the mattresses. Mattress in the master bedroom is so old I could feel the springs pressing into my back regardless of where I tried to sleep on the bed. If you can overlook the uncomfortable mattresses everything else about the apartment is spectacular!

Eh

Water leaking from fridge. Called management co. Never heard from them. Bath tub in unit didn’t drain very well. From photos looked like it was isolated from other properties. It’s sandwiched in between a restaurant (which I’m sure off Covid is VERY busy) and a novelty/beach shop.

Family tradition for many years

We always stay at Sandpiper Condos and have for many years. The location is right in the middle of the Pier area and there is easy access to restaurants. The only negative for this trip was the elevator went out on the next to the last day. Concerns over the safety of disabled/elderly patrons and inconvenience for us.

Enjoyed visiting Tybee Island

The condo was very nice and the location was great but the balcony was closed in and blocked the ocean view which we love. I was very disappointed because at 82 years old I do not like going on the beach but love sitting on the balcony enjoying watching the ocean and people. Vivian Turner

A very comfortable & amply furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo that overlooks Tybee beach

5 of us older adults really enjoyed this comfy condo; the beds and bed-linens were very nice and the big sofa, chairs and dining table meant we could enjoy our long family discussions. We liked the proximity to the beach and the view from the top floor looking at the pier and a long swath of shipping channel looking southeast (though the privacy railing prevents viewing the surf and beach while seated). The kitchen is adequately furnished except a need for a few larger, sharp knives. There were a few small maintenance issues that the cleaning staff had not reported (slow drain, 2 small water leaks in appliances), but staff showed up quickly to get them under control. Be sure to walk one block to the Tybee Science Center if you like talking with well-trained young people who love taking care of sea turtles - also good small gift shop.

The Sandpiper Condo was perfect! I can't say enough about the location, cleanliness and ambiance

I spent a long weekend with my family at the Sandpiper Condominium and had such a wonderful time. The condo has the perfect view of the ocean, the perfect location, we seldom had to move the car, and the perfect decor. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, we were in walking distance of so many venues and the wifi passwords were easy to find. I will definitely stay there again.
