Beautiful House

We had a great stay and enjoyed the pool. Has a game room downstairs but was t well lit. House interior was beautiful and homey.

Tybee Vacation Rentals and our Cesspool Family Vacation!

We will never book with Tybee Vacation Rentals again! Stayed at “Beach Diggs” last year and had a wonderful time. So much so, we booked the same location this year. After a hot, 9 hour drive, my kids were super excited to jump in the pool. At 4:30 pm, we arrived and saw the pond out back. Green, cloudy, filthy water. I’m not joking, my daughter pulled a live frog out of it. The pool was disgusting and unusable. We called, texted and e-mailed Tybee Vacation Rentals. Struggled to get anyone to answer our queries! They finally did and said they would fix the pool right away. That was a lie. It didn’t happen Saturday or Sunday. They came Monday evening. The pool cleaning vendor that finally arrived told me it was in bad shape and would require more time to clean. We were able to use the pool on Wednesday night, our last night at the property. Numerous rentals close by that were significantly less expensive but we wanted the pool. WE WERE ROBBED. I would caution you not to book with Tybee Vacation Rentals. Once they have your cash, they couldn’t care less about your stay! Thanks to Tybee Vacation Rentals, the cesspool is the thing we will remember most about the 2025 family vacation!

Great Getaway

Was a great spot to getaway with a group of friends. Walking distance to a few local restaurants and steps from the beach. Spent a lot of time chilling around the pool!!

Great Experience

Stay was very comfortable and great space to all hang out together. Here a few things that need to be addressed - clean dryer lint, water pressure in downstairs bathroom is not great and there is a tile that is not secure on the floor, blinds throughout house need some work and doorbell does not work. Location to beach was fantastic and the pool outside was very nice.

So-so!

It was our family vacation, we go every year. This house has potential to be better than it is! There are definitely things that need to be addressed, it seems the up keep on the property isn’t that good. Doors not closing whether it be bathroom doors or cabinets! We actually had to call and have them hang a mirror back up in the downstairs bathroom, it was leaned up against the wall! The blinds i. One of the upstairs bedrooms had black electrical tape on them, they had been ripped or something but it was extremely tacky and looked awful! And they shouldn’t even tell about the ping pong table or fuse ball table in the garage, not only is it hot but it is also stinky and dark! They should remove those games and let people park their cars in there! We enjoyed the pool the most but as a whole decided we’ve definitely stayed in much better vacation homes on Vrbo!

Quick getaway

House was spacious, pool was a great addition! Beach access was close but was more of a private, quiet beach setting. We ended up driving to the beach at the Tybee pier each day, which is a short drive.

Great island stay

The house was great for our group. Great living room and outdoor space. Bedrooms were large with lots of closet space. The pool was perfect for hot summer days. The beach was great for dipping and sunsets. Saw some dolphins and hit some local restaurants. All around, a great time. Easy to manage.

Great stay for a marathon

Very excellent house for a quick weekend trip for the rock N roll marathon. It was very rainy, so we enjoyed the nice, spacious home!

Phenomenal!

We went to Tybee Island for a family girls trip and the house accommodated all eight of us comfortably, was very clean and well kept, and decorated with the cutest beach decor! The location of the house to the beach as well as the shops, market/bars in Tybee was perfect for our trip, and it was an easy 25 minutes away from gorgeous Savannah. Highly recommend.

Perfect location!

This house is in a perfect location. Less than a 2 min walk to the beach so it was very easy to walk my young son back and forth. This part of the island is quiet and the beach was not very busy even in the height of the summer season. There were 7 of us in our group and we could’ve fit a few more in the house. There were lots of outdoor entertaining options on the outside of the property. The management company texted and emailed lots of information before, during and after the trip. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it!

Great family reunion spot

We rented three houses close to each other and each was perfect for a family or two. Couldn't have been a better location for a family reunion with young kids.

We took a girls trip here and had a blast! The house was spacious enough for 7 of us and the location was perfect! We stayed in and cooked most nights and there was plenty of cookware available! Would definitely recommend this house to friends and would love to come back!

May 2020 Stay

My husband and I brought our High School Senior and his friends for a grad gift during the week they opened the beaches after Covid. It was perfect! Not crowded at all, and blue skies without airplane lines blurring the skies. Rented bikes, jet skies, kayaks, watched sunsets right off the upper porch and steps away on the beach. All the shops and restaurant are open and practicing safety rules. Favorite was the deep sea fishing trip with Miss Judy. The space was perfect! 3 girls in one bedroom 3 boys in the other, and a king bed suite for us. Every bedroom has their own bathroom. Beds are comfortable! We had a fire in the pit one night and played a game of volleyball. We extended our stay for another night because we didn’t want to leave.

Great family beach getaway!

My family of 5 + 2 grandparents stayed here to enjoy some beach time and visit Savannah. The house is spacious, clean, and has everything you need. The beach access was very convenient (only one house from the beach). The beach was beautiful and very quiet. We saw TONS of dolphins! Tybee island is a quaint little beach community I would definitely revisit again.

Needs TLC but great location

The house could be amazing but with the most uncomfortable beds we’ve experienced at a seemingly nice rental it’s hard to give it more stars. The house has a great location and some parts are updated BUT there’s so much that needs repair or maintenance. We rented the first of April, this early in the season we were very surprised at how dirty things were in general. The house offers space inside and out, a nice layout and easy beach access.

March 2019 Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Beach Digs. It was our spring break weekend, and while everyone was partying (St. Patrick's day) in Savannah, we were enjoying the serenity of hanging out in Tybee. Beach digs has so many pluses, I cannot list then all here. We'll return when it is warmer so that we can spend even MORE time enjoying the sand pit, volleyball COURT, outdoor swing, and all this property has to offer.

November 2018 Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach Digs. A nice, comfortable home. Easy walk to North Beach, beautiful sunsets, fun to watch the container ships going into and coming out of Port of Savannah. Tybee Vacation Rentals was so easy to work with. We’ll definitely rent through them again!
