Great beach house

Perfect Girls’ Trip

House was unique and full of character, but also immaculately clean, well-stocked, and completely comfortable. It was the perfect getaway for girls’ weekend.

The Trolly House

This was a great location for the beach and town areas. We really enjoyed the time spent on the beach which was a short walk over the dunes. The beach was not busy and enjoyed the long walks during the day and night.

Cute Trolley but needs repairs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great, missing and broken blinds was a distraction but the bugs were the biggie. Appeared very dated but clean, although had a lot of giant Palmetto bugs, lots of spiders and several regular roaches or baby giant roaches, don't know the difference. Needs regular pest spraying. Plan to stay in a hotel next time.

Trolley Time

We absolutely loved the cozy trolley. It was clean and decorated so cute. We had everything we needed. Close to the beach which was wonderful. Quiet. The weather could have cooperated a little (rainy) but we had a wonderful visit. Saw places in Savannah and Charleston. I would recommend the Tybee Trolley to anyone looking for that special place to visit.

Beach trip

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! The property was just like the pictures, check in was easy, there are restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the location right on the beach was super convenient. We are a family of 5 and the space was just perfect. We would definitely stay here again, thanks so much!

Perfection

The Trolley Cottage was a dream come true. Exceeded our expectations; photos can't do justice to the house and the location! We were so impressed with the care given to restoration of the historic center of the property and the tastefulness of the decor and furnishings. And SUPER comfortable beds, sofas, and chairs. We settled right in. I left my phone when we left, and the response was prompt and helpful. Thank goodness! Our only suggestion is to upgrade the stove. A dishwasher would be nice but maybe not feasible in the available space. We were enchanted with our Tybee Trolley stay. Highly recommended for those who value history, beauty, and comfort.

Wonderful!

What a wonderful trolley beach house- we had a great, peaceful beach weekend and will definitely stay here again. It’s vintage, different and comfortable- on a private part of the beach & we all really enjoyed! For a mom & her two grown daughters it was perfect.

Great stay with lots of charm

Though it's small, with few frills, the beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and it had everything we needed. And it was cool to walk around inside the old trolley. Being right on the beach was so convenient. The beach wasn't over crowded at all and everybody is so friendly. I would stay here again!

Cute Cottage ion the Best Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our long weekend at the Trolley Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, cute, had everything we needed. Being right on the beach was amazing. You can watch the sunrise right from the deck. We will definitely visit again!

Trolley needs some tender love

So overall, this was a nice place to stay and it was right on the beach. However, I feel that the place needs a little bit of tender love and care. For example, the door was very hard to close and open, and also it took about an hour for us to get the key out of the key lock. We realized that the bed in the master bedroom had a book that was holding it up.which seemed kind of ridiculous. The sofa and the beds need to be replaced as the sofa sank all the way down and the bed gave us both back pain. As I said this place needs some tender love and care to bring up the standards to make it a nicer place for people to stay.

Charming Beach Property

The cottage is unique with the 'street car' being a wonderful element. The beds were very nice, everything was clean and in order. There is a roach problem but can tell its being worked. The kitchen is well stocked.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the Tybee Trolley was great! Yes, there are a few quirks since it’s an old trolley car that has been converted and added onto. But, it’s steps from an uncrowded beach, walkable to The Deck restaurant and North Beach Bar and Grill. The house was super clean and had plenty of towels. The only improvement might be to provide beach chair and umbrella.

fun place on the beach with unique charm

Problems getting in

The Trolley was a very unique place, but the outside area was not very clean & the grill was broken and could not use. We also could not open the lock to get the key out to open the door. There needs to be instructions on how to open the lock as we had to have someone come & open it for us. We waited over an hour to get in. We also didn't realize that we had no view of the water while using the porch due to the dunes. Something I will consider in future bookings. Also, the beach umbrella was broken & needs to be replaced. Overall, it was a unique experience.
