Perfect Girls’ Trip

The Trolly House

This was a great location for the beach and town areas. We really enjoyed the time spent on the beach which was a short walk over the dunes. The beach was not busy and enjoyed the long walks during the day and night.

Trolley Time

We absolutely loved the cozy trolley. It was clean and decorated so cute. We had everything we needed. Close to the beach which was wonderful. Quiet. The weather could have cooperated a little (rainy) but we had a wonderful visit. Saw places in Savannah and Charleston. I would recommend the Tybee Trolley to anyone looking for that special place to visit.

Yes, there are a few quirks since it’s an old trolley car that has been converted and added onto. But, it’s steps from an uncrowded beach, walkable to The Deck restaurant and North Beach Bar and Grill. The house was super clean and had plenty of towels. The only improvement might be to provide beach chair and umbrella.

Trolley needs some tender love

So overall, this was a nice place to stay and it was right on the beach. However, I feel that the place needs a little bit of tender love and care. For example, the door was very hard to close and open, and also it took about an hour for us to get the key out of the key lock. We realized that the bed in the master bedroom had a book that was holding it up.which seemed kind of ridiculous. The sofa and the beds need to be replaced as the sofa sank all the way down and the bed gave us both back pain. As I said this place needs some tender love and care to bring up the standards to make it a nicer place for people to stay.

Nothing Else Like It

My wife and I enjoyed a five-day getaway at the Tybee Trolley in mid-June. We were looking for a unique, relaxing experience for our first visit to Tybee Island; this property was just right. The Tybee Trolley is quaint (even a little quirky, as you might expect) but very comfortable and well maintained. As one might expect from the property listing, this is more of an unpretentious beach cabin than a luxury property. But it has everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We liked the location: on a relatively quiet stretch of the island, yet still within walking distance of both south beach/Tybrisa Street (about a mile away) and the north beach area (less than a mile away). We especially enjoyed time on the deck, right in front of the dunes. When the wind was a little too strong for deck time, it was easy to retreat into the porch area or the living area, without losing any of the gorgeous view. The kitchen was well equipped, and the air conditioning, plumbing, appliances, etc., all worked well, with one minor exception. We ran a load of laundry midway through the week and found that the dryer wasn't producing enough warm air to dry the clothes. In all, we had a great time. The Tybee Trolley was an excellent choice for us.

Cozy Beachfront Retreat

It was a perfect space for three generations (grandparents, parents, kids) directly at the dunes and cross-over to the beach. The decor and unique trolley "heart" of the cottage made it have a wonderful classic beach house feel. The place was clean and easily accessible to the island's restaurants and shops. We especially loved eating and playing games in the front full-glass sitting area. The kitchen could use some updating but it was also quaint and adequate for our stay.

My sister, teeanage son and I were there visiting my other son who is in school in Savannah. The cottage felt like home immediately. It was a quaint seaside beauty. We left to explore a little bit each day but loved coming back to hang out or visit the beach. Highlights- seeing dolphins & other wildlife right by our place, coffee every morning in a new spot in the cottage,shrimp boil with fresh food, sunrises on the beach, noting all of the details in the trolley part of the house and of course exploring Tybee & Savannah. We enjoyed the perfect weather & made memories for a lifetime! Thank you for sharing this beauty! 🐚 🌊 💙
