“Great location, with loads of parking in the area and really close to the station (handy to get to Newcastle) and the seaside.
The staff was helpful when we had an issue with the check in, and was always responsive to our requests.
The room was alright, even though the bed wasn't exactly comfy, and the timed fan in the bathroom wasn't ideal at night.
The best thing overall was the cafe, in which we went for all the three days. Hats off! The staff was amazing, and they could accommodate our……

We will almost certainly visit again, despite getting a few things wrong the staff were extremely friendly and……

“We stayed in the Premium room. Although it was huge with a roll top bath at one end (which we didn’t use) I felt it needed some updating. The black wood wardrobe, dressing tables, lights and cushions could be modernised and improve the look. The bed was huge with wooden headboard and footboard but every time one of us moved the whole bed shook like the boards were going to collapse. The shower was great. Some of the bathroom fittings were loose - toilet roll holder and sink taps - and the toilet……

“Lovely apartment, key pick up will be after 4pm Monday to Thursday as the bar is closed beforehand. There is NO ALLOCATED PARKING PERMIT. Staff are lovely at the two businesses downstairs which offer 10% discount for anyone staying here.
We lived the apartment so much, it's got a great vibe and had everything we required.”
