「I can't fault my 3-night stay at the Halvard as a solo traveller on business. My room was well maintained, spacious and comfortable with a decent heating/aircon system that allowed me to have the temperature I like. 「I didnt have a beach view, but I wished I did it would of complemented the whole atmosphere of the Regency Hotel. Very quaint, oldy worldy place in a very nice way. Nice personal touches from the toiletries to the shoe shine and sewing kit. Loved my stay. 」

「A lovely warm welcome, staff were all brilliant and friendly. Lovely rooms available but we got a room with a rubbish view, broken drainage pipes, water gushing noise. Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of use also but was offered usage of sister hotel down road but not the same as being able to just pop down to use it. Breakfasts were lovely. Encore bar and restaurant were brill lovely food and drinks . Just a shame about what could have been a 5 star 」

「The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. 」
