I’m not gonna lie. The place is old and in need of some love. So if you’re used to brand-new high-end luxurious comfort then this place is NOT for you. If however you wanna step back in to Bali’s not so distance past an experience a more authentic and traditional Balinese hospitality experience then this place would be a great option. Very centrally located, it sits away from all the noise and traffic in a lush and peaceful oasis near a cascading creek….and luckily at least on my stay….NO monkeys. Again there are fancier and more luxurious places to stay, but for me I really loved its old world charm and sincere hospitality. Whilst old the place was perfectly clean and lovingly maintained. The staff were all warm and genuinely cared for you like a personal guest of theirs. I will be back. Makasi

The perfect traditional Balinese stay. Staff are excellent, welcoming and attentive upon arrival through to the end. The stay is convenient on the main st but tucked down an alleyway which keeps it quiet and away. Just absolutely perfect and will be back!

it was a soo beautiful stay. the habitacion are amazing. and thanks to the team, you are all wonderfull. sweet and respectfull. I would stay more nights but they didn't have nothing more available. so don't take the risk and make your reservation as soon as possible. the breakfast, pool, services, bedrooms all is perfect.

This property is average. Room was small and furnishings were old (mosquito netting had holes for example). Bathroom fixtures/tiles were old, no shower stall. Pool was small. Everything seemed a bit dirty. Some aspects were charming, such as the patio and basic architecture, but many were not. Staff was hit/miss - some were exceptionally polite, and others were rude. Caution - it is set back from the road a ways and there are potentially many steep steps, depending on where your bungalow is.

I cannot recommend Kebun Indah enough! The villa we stayed in was beautiful, really quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was really friendly and accommodating. The location is great as well, conveniently located near restaurants and shops in Ubud.

An absolute gem. Beautiful large room set in gorgeous gardens. Set back from the busy streets of Ubud but still easy walking distance to Monkey Park and other downtown sights. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. I’d love to stay longer and would highly recommend.

Delightful experience

What a little gem this place is. Very serene and quiet, lovely place to be. Very attentive staff, comfortable (Bali style) room, wonderful breakfast and steps away from the Ubud streets. If you are looking for a place to rejuvenate and contemplate rather than to party, this is where to go.

Fab boutique hotel, exceptional customer service

I can't compliment everything about this fantastic boutique hotel and the wonderful staff that work there enough! I had such a wonderful stay and was only sorry that I had to leave. The place was amazing, set in wonderful gardens with a really nice pool in a quiet area but close to the centre. My room overlooked the gardens and pool and was very quiet away from the traffic. The wildlife was wonderful to watch and hear and I was close by to walk into town and all the other exciting things happening in Ubud. Breakfast brought to me on my verandah was probably my favourite part of the day. The staff were superb and really helpful with any questions or requirements I had. They arranged a pick up from airport, made recommendations of what to see and where to go and in general provided some of the best customer service I have ever come across. Withought a doubt I would stay here again and i would recommend this place to anyone! I really hope family run business continue over and above the large luxury resorts and that we contribute to this by being responsible tourists! I for one would like to support that and hope that you do too!

I really enjoyed this place. I loved waking up to the sound of birds and not street cars. This place is located on the main road, but it is tucked away behind the road. The service was excellent. It was great value for your money. I will point out that there is not a safety box in the room, but the front desk has a safe that you could put your valuables in. The lock for the door is a giant padlock and not your typical lock. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. On my last night, there was a heavy rain and the roof in the bathroom leaked considerably. Overall, the Balinese charm was delightful. The staff at the hotel were wonderful. The pool was clean. The environment was relaxing and I would stay here again.

Quel soulagement lorsque l'on arrive dans l'enceinte de la pension et que l'on découvre la jungle sur laquelle donne toutes les chambres! Calme assuré la nuit. Le personnel était adorable, toujours prêt à aider ou conseiller. Chambres parfaitement propres et spacieuses. Un très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Lovely home in Ubud

Amazing garden setting, lovely room with a small sitting area facing the garden, the service was attentive, we used the shuttle twice and it was very helpful. My husband left some clothing and once we called they have delivered to our next hotel, in Ubud promptly. Thank you so much! Highly recommend Kebun Indah! We enjoy the authentic Balinese culture and hospitalities.
