The property was spotless, very well appointed and everything was of very good quality.Breakfasts were freshly made and delicious. Our hostess was very friendly and gave us excellent advice about places to visit and good places to eat. There was nothing about the property. that we did not like. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The owner made us very welcome which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also found out that Old Daltongate House is the oldest house in Ulverston. If we get a chance, we will certainly go back again.

A lovely house close to the centre

The house is close to the centre of Ulverston and parking is in a paying car park. I loved the quirky property and my room which was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is well organised with a number of different options to choose from.

Lovely find

What a wonderful find. A great place to stay with lovely hosts. The house itself is one of the oldest in Ulverston with parts dating back to Jacobean times. The house is tastefully decorated and the room we stayed in was very comfortable with a great bathroom. Everything was clean and we had a lovely breakfast. Well definitely return.

What an amazing place. Unassuming from the outside, apart from being the oldest building in Ulverston. It is wonderful and cosy, inside with modern sympathetic decoration.
