"Room was very comfortable and clean. Rochelle was a wonderful helpful host.Spacious room with ample drawers and storage.Very well equipped kitchen.Easy drive to shopping centre, local pub and beaches.As advertised the bathroom is small, so no surprise.We informed Rochelle of any defects/deficiencies which she is going to address:- the bathroom washbasin plug was stuck open;- the bathroom lacked a mirror for shaving/make-up, but ther is room to put one on the wall;-the tray counter-top oven was very dirty/greasy and hadn't been cleaned after previous guests had used it.However these are easily adressed by the pwner - overall it was just what we needed for our 3 night stay and we would stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort. The resort is beautiful, with a lovely design and atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and a good size for three people. We especially loved the balcony, which made the room feel very pleasant, and the air conditioning worked very well. One disappointment was the lack of a general lift. The only lift seemed to be for guests with accessibility needs. I completely understand the need for an accessible lift, but having at least one lift for general guests would be helpful, especially for people arriving with luggage. The pool was also extremely cold and basically unusable. We had been warned it was cold, but it was much colder than expected, and several children were visibly shivering. The spa was not working either and was also very cold. Interestingly, the ocean was much warmer that same day. We loved the Galleria downstairs. There is a great variety of restaurants, cafés and interesting shops, and we spent most of a rainy day there without getting bored. However, many shops closed around 2–3 pm. We were also very surprised that on Monday morning absolutely everything in the Galleria was closed, including restaurants, cafés, the bakery, ice cream shop and shops. Reception told us most venues close during weekdays and mainly open on weekends. This wasn’t clear on the website and would be important information for guests, especially families visiting during school holidays. We also really enjoyed the cinema,"

Everything was great, really, but highlights definitely are proximity to beach, peaceful - no noise neighbourhood, backyard area - gorgeous, lush and shady, and the retro furniture, took me back to my youth in the 70’s, very special, lovingly cared for pieces of furniture. Best part was that the whole place was super clean. I’d love to return."

"We enjoyed our stay at the property, but realised we didn't pay enough attention (it was mentioned in the listing) to the fact that the backyard is not enclosed at all on the side closest to the road (i.e. completely open to the road). So we could not let our dog out into the backyard unsupervised in case he escaped. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped and there was heating in the living area, which was a bonus."
