“My husband and I are from NSW and travelled to Tasmania to catch up with our daughter, son-in-law and two little grandchildren. It was a perfect home away from home with so many thoughtful inclusions. Perfect location for going to the iconic Cataract Gorge. Loved the walks, parks and wildlife. Only regret we had was that we couldn’t stay longer. Would definitely love to stay there again. We were warmly welcomed with the home heated on arrival. Well equipped kitchen and highly recommend,……

“Lovely place to stay. Had everything you need. Comfortable and close to the city. Perhaps needed an information booklet of some sort about the property. For example, the microwave/grill/convection oven was handy but needed a manual of some kind, and involved a bit of trial and error to get working. For somewhere so close to the city it was extremely quiet. Lovely bedlinen and beautifully decorated.”

“The location right next door to Cataract Gorge was perfect. The house fit out could use a bit of finesse. The inclusion of the high chair and porta cot was perfect, as we were travelling with a one year old. Would have appreciated some plastic plates, bowls and cups, but that is just being picky. There is a lot of ground level power points that would have benefited from some child proof plugs. The couch is the lounge room is old, uncomfortable and almost worn out. There is a slight ant problem……

“The house had a very homey feel. It was beautifully presented. Having a washing machine and dryer was great and the extra toilet was a bonus for a large group. The house was only a 10 minute walk from the Newstead Hotel, Cole’s and other small shops and a close 5 minute drive into Launceston.”
