"Hotel met our needs for a quick overnight stop on our cross cointry trip. Quiet and clean. Not a fancy hotel, but was what we were looking for."

"We stayed at the cabin in Nov 2023. And had a wonderful time. What made the trip so memorable was getting recommendations from the owner Amy when she came to the cabin stoking the outside heater that piped in heat to cabin. Cannot over emphasize the need to do research on places to explore while there, because this cabin is in a very rural area. Amy's recommendations on where we should visit meant everything. Quiz her on that. I encouraged her to place in the cabin a list of Must See's / Must Do's to make the stay more incredible - without a plan, you are VERY remote - you need a plan on where to go, what to see, restaurant to visit, etc. This place is absolutely magic - but you need a plan on what to do while there to make it so. Or, if you just want to stay in cabin to unwind, no better place. Small stream with trout wrap around the property. I caught / released 2 rainbow trout with fly rod, but only fished a few minutes. I live on flat land in Virginia, so the mountain views while driving the roads were breathtaking to me. You like deer? They are everywhere. The beauty in these mountains, yes, there is a Creator - and that Creator loves you. God Bless. "
