"Loved the bungalow but every time you pay with points you become less priority. I paid for ocean view and ment a lot to me and I’m pretty sure it was a partial view of the beach. I had 75% of my view was the next bungalow. When you pay with points, you become less of a important customer."

However, a few things that didn’t meet our expectations were the following: -overall checkin was frustrating and communication was lacking from the property management company. -lack of items in unit such as towels. None in the kitchen and no face towels. -shower/bathroom was a bit untidy when we arrived. -listing is a bit deceiving as the photos show the ocean front pool which is not apart of the complex. "Honua Kai resort is lovely. Multiple pools for all ages. Duke's restaurant very good. Our accomodations were adequate, not luxurious. Staff is accomodating. Property manager has the reputation of being "strict" according to valet service, so don't try to check in before 11!"
