"We liked the fact it’s an older building with lots of character. We were steps away from the restaurant that serves great food. We took an uber to the Mary Browns centre which is only a 10 minute drive. Everything was so close, yet it was quiet"

"The staff was really friendly, breakfast was amazing at Jack's. The only suggestion I would have is the furniture could use replacing. The drawers in the night stand would not remain closed and cabinet that hid the fridge was in rough shape also. Very outdated."

"Bathroom door could use replacing, it was an effort to close it securely. The self-moistening toilet cycled for nearly an hour after flushing and was quite loud. Our room came with a complementary bottle of wine corked with no bottle opener provided. We called reception for a bottle opener and it took an hour to arrive, similarly for towels. Complementary breakfast was good but also a little lacklustre, very meat and potatoes. The stay was otherwise very clean, quiet, friendly staff. A short walk to downtown."
