Does the job for a few days of short stay.
The common area and common kitchen was good to spend time, cook your own food, work etc., as the rooms are 8-10 people bunk beds and anything other than sleeping is difficult from the bunk bed.
You have to be self reliant. Close/walking distance from the city centre and Utrecht University.

The owner is kind, and she cooked breakfast for us every morning. We could enjoy the meals she prepared each time. This place is great for backpackers. If you’re looking for a business or elegant hotel, this might not be suitable. But if you want to meet people from other countries and save money, this hotel is perfect for you. There might be some downsides, but getting meals anytime at this price really helps during your trip.
It is shared accommodations, and you should pack your own set of bed sheets, blanket cover, and pillow case. Probably better suited to a longer stay. A nice place to meet other travelers. Breakfast was nice. The proprietor is agreeable and welcoming.
the ccommodation was cosy friendly the atmosphere was nice alot of instruments a hoge breakfast free pizza s
they mention safe the planet you have to bring your own sleepingbag Good idea
The place is a great location, and the casual environment really feels like a college dorm room. Evenly (the owner) bakes fresh pastries and there is a kitchen that can be accessed 24/7 and it’s filled with basics so you’ll never go hungry, or thirsty! I highly suggest this for singles because you make some great people locally ⚡️
The way hostels used to be: not excessively clean; bring-your-own towel/sheet; not everything functioning; good location; working wifi; super cheap (relatively); and with tons of free food at all times. You can complain all you want, and/or be happy a place like this still exists.

It’s a nice no nonsense property. The owner seems to care a lot about her guests. There does seem to be a regular guest named Lynsey who appears to be a prostitute but she is not pushy and adds to the character of the place.
I highly recommend this hostel for ppl who want to travel cheap. There was bed, hot shower and free breakfast which owner bakes plenty every morning! And also there are free rice, pasta, milk, cheese, coffee, tee,,,etc!
But There is no sheets unless you bring your own, or you can rent them from the reception. But I couldn't tell it looks clean. I brought my own sleeping bag so slept quite comfortably:)
I paid €30 per night roughly which is cheap but I would exoect the toilet and shower to work. The shower drain would not drain the water away. The whole building needs a refurbishment. It's a dump.

Unbelievable! I contacted the property on the Monday about possibly needing a late check in. The hostel contacted me 30 minutes before arrived at its door to tell me my booking was cancelled and I needed to find another hotel!
The whole place was very dirty, staff unfriendly, very noisy during the night, no lockers in the room, the shower was just one big room with three showers that everyone just could enter. All in all a terrible experience.
