St. John's VC Bird Monument Hotels

"The biggest disappointment was the “pool view” room, which was clearly obstructed. The view was mostly blocked by trees and structures, so it didn’t match what was advertised at all. I also specifically requested a king bed and was given a double queen instead, which was frustrating and not addressed. Service was noticeably slow, and while I understand it may have been affected by Election Day staffing, it still impacted the overall experience. There didn’t seem to be enough staff to keep things running smoothly. The food was okay—nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. For a resort at this price point, I expected much better quality and variety. Entertainment was also underwhelming. The vibe just wasn’t there, especially compared to other resorts in this category. On a positive note, the property itself is visually nice and well-maintained, but unfortunately that wasn’t enough to make up for the other issues. Overall, I wouldn’t return based on this experience."

"Property was clean. Beautiful views of EVERYTHING !!! Staff were phenomenally amazing. Big shout outs to VERNON AND SCOTT !!!! They made my stay GREAT !"

"Old, shabby, in the middle of a building site, only 1 light in any room. all ceiling vans not working. TV not working. Had to ask for a room key as one was not provided at check-in."

"The bed had the springs coming thru the mattress, it squeaked even when I place a beach bag on the bed. Comforter was old. Mouldy caulking in the bathroom Tv did not work Slimmy foot bath outside the room, appeared that the water had not been changed recently Resort is great restaurant was average Communication with the host was difficult and last email I responded to them they never answered "

"Everything stood out: the host's attentiveness, excellent amenities, and a serene neighborhood. The house felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, with thoughtful touches like extra towels/linens, AC in every bedroom, and that surprise pool (I booked before a pool was advertised). All amenities were in great condition: the full kitchen (with microwave fan and ample counter space) worked well for family cooking, the washer/dryer was a game-changer, and everything was spotless and modern. The host was super responsive through text and stayed in touch throughout to ensure we were set. He even gave us flexibility on check-in/out for our toddler!"
