Great location and resort

Although we’ve been to Vail many times, we had never explored the Lions Head Village. What we found is that it’s very easy to navigate the mountain and village from this area. Between the In Town bus and walking out our door to the gondola, this location was perfect for our family. The room itself was adequate. No surprises there. And access to the hot tubs and pool at the end if the day was just what we needed. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to the mountain, close to everything

The stay might have spoiled us too much. When you walk out the door, you grab your skis and you are at the Gondola. At the end of the day you slide to a stop, pop off your skis and hand them to the valet. Effortless. Able to get comfortable before hitting apres ski. I didn't hit the pool or the hot tub but I did see many enjoying it.

Nice hotel style room in a great location

Property is very well maintained and in a great location. You walk out the door and are right at the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Ski- in/out is as good as it gets - you ski right up to the building and hand your skis to the ski valet, who locks them up and hands them back to you in the morning. Room is basically a standard hotel room with 2 beds. Very nicely maintained. Kitchen amenities are a small fridge and microwave only. Bellman, front desk team, and ski valet are all warm and accomodating. If you need to contact the front desk from outside the hotel, its a pain, as the number listed on google and elsewhere directs you to a corporate number somewhere offsite, which is not helpful.
