Great family getaway

Snuck up for a last minute ski vacation with the family. Was great overall and the massage chair was an especially nice perk.

East Vail Weekend 3/2024

Myself and 6 close friends chose this home for a weekend away from home in Denver. The home was ready a few hours prior to the check-in time which was nice, even though we hadn't yet made it there. The interior is spacious, with a huge basement. There isn't a primary suite which was nice, as no one felt they were getting a room with less features than another. I was able to cook multiple days and found everything we needed in the kitchen. I do wish there was a carport or garage as it's never fun to de-ice your vehicle after a heavy snow storm, but not a necessity. I would most definitely choose to stay in this home again- thank you to the hosts.

Beautiful location w/ uncomfortable furniture and not as much privacy as advertised

East Vail is a great location for a peaceful mountain getaway, but this place was not entirely as advertised and left some things to be desired. First, it's half of a duplex. I don't have an issue with renting half a duplex, but it should be mentioned in the description. As such, the described "private wrap-around porch" is not private at all. It's shared with the neighbor. Also, the beds all have super-firm memory foam mattresses. Some people like memory foam, but many do not. So it seems an odd choice for a rental. I slept fine, but the rest of my family was sleeping so poorly that we considered going home a night early. Lastly, the living room couch was like a bus bench. It was by far the most uncomfortable piece of furniture that I've ever encountered in a rental. Sweet massage chair, tho!
