「Melissa was a very accommodating and welcoming host. We had a lovely stay at By the Sea and wish we could have stayed longer. The bathroom was clean and the room was nicely decorated. There was even a hanger to put on the balcony to dry our clothes. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and everything was close by. 」

「This is a wonderful hotel. Check in is efficient and also fun. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and with comfortable beds. We also really enjoyed our breakfast experience with eggs cooked to order. We didn’t get a chance to try their restaurant. There are many funky touches through this property and I imagine would be a lot of fun for a young child to experience. 「It was a travel in time kind of experience, you can feel the serenity and walking through the wide hallways and getting into the room was like getting inside a real monastery room. The ambiance was minimalist and peaceful.」

「The property was lovely, our room was very clean and well appointed. It is a very quiet location with a very nice courtyard area to sit and relax. Our hostess Sandra was delightful and provided us with a delicious breakfast including homemade breads and cake.」

「Wonderfully maintained property, super clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Many amenities like pool, pool table and table tennis which we regretfully didn’t have time to use. The owner gave great recommendations for places to eat and what to see. Definitely top of list when we come back to Portugal!」
